The obvious one would be Michael Jackson's Thriller!
Beyond that I'm no help.

Monster Mash is a given.

In addition to Thriller, Michael Jackson had two similar songs - 'Ghosts' and 'Is It Scary?'

Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's dead

Or for those lighter moments -

Meatloaf - Bat out of hell
or
The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack (that'll fill an hour or so!)

Moloko - Pure Pleasure Seeker. A lot of Moloko's material from Things To Make And Do would work well for a Halloween Bash.

Oh my days, no! That's become such a cliché already. How about Vampire, Rammstein.

I like Goth songs for Hallowe'en

Hallowe'en - Siouxie and the Banshees is the most obvious but a few of their other hits are very atmospheric. They did a song called 'Fireworks' too which isn't far from Hallowe'een in time.

A Forest - Cure

Martin - Soft Cell is really atmospheric

Spooky - Dusty Springfield

The Cult have done some good atmospheric songs
