New Moby Single Feat. Debbie Harry

Have you seen the video for the new Moby single "New York, New York"?

I think the video it's kind of funny, and Debbie Harry sounds wonderful (as always!) - what do you think?

Oh - you can see the video via these Real Media or Windows Media streams.

I think they should both retire. Sounds like a hastily put together mess, just to promote Moby's forthcoming greatest hits.

What Garbage. It just sounds like one of these dance songs we hear day in, day out.

except it's actually got a tune. wasn't convinced with the 'new york new york part at the start, but once it gets going it's really pretty catchy.

but i'm biased because i really like him. he has a good blog / journal on his website that posts to practically every other day.

and the bagels at teaNY are delicious, despite being vegan.

Like it. Kind of reminds me of the "praise you" video.

I love the song, but I'm not so sure about the video.

It's all about the Tocadisco dub mix. Very nice.

Terrible track.

On the other hand, the new Trentemøller remix of "Go" pushes all the right (minimalist-techno) buttons. Special.

I love Debbie Harry and Blondie. She has a great voice, and this sounds a bit like some of solo stuff from the 80s.

It's not Blondie, but quite catchy.

Thanks for posting the vid links - tho can't believe how crap the vid is - where's Debbie???? I love Debbie Harry but this is not a great song unfortunately. Still, was interesting to check it out - thanks.

When I first put the song on I was bemused by how tacky it sounded but by the end of the 3 minutes it had totally won me over. Nice bit of pure pop rather that the endless r&b drivel the radio subjects us to these days
