Xbox ghosting in HD mode

hi all

Ive got a, ahem, chipped Xbox, not for copied games but because i can use it as a HI DEF media streamer...and thats the problem...............

Its plugged in to my samsung 32r41b LCD Tv via component and set to NTSC and 720 and 1080 modes have been enabled on the xbox.

But when displaying these modes the picture, although super stable is ghosting and looks awful.

The samsung is picking the signal up ok as when you press info it says 720x1280@60hz

Any ideas ???

Is the TV faulty or the xbox cable ???
