Vodafone Live Music Awards

I didn't see a thread on this, so I thought I'd start one.

Hosted by Chris Moyles.

Starts on Channel 4 in 5 minutes or so.

Any thoughts?

Edit: 11.08pm - Seems like some technical problems.

What a balls-up! No sound on a live (I presume it's live) music show. Oh dear!

Edit: That's better.

What a load of absolute rubbish this has been. Can Razorlight get any further up Vodafones arses? Do they endorse Vodaphone or something?

Best live act of the year - The Automatic...what an absolute joke THAT is. How they managed to win that award over Arctic Monkeys I do not know.

Whilst Pink Floyd are brilliant, they only reformed for Live8.

Take That put on a superb tour that really drew in the crowds. I went to see them myself and I was amazed at the quality of the show. I try to see various gigs every year of a mixture of artists and Take That are up there as the best gig I've ever attended.

So they only reformed for Live8 - that's a live return surely and one that many people thought they'd never see. It's not as if they need the money and what's more they did actually have ALL of the original members of the band

I don't know if this category was a public vote or not but if so that'd explain it.

overall, I thought the show was good. It could do with a few tweaks here and there like Moyles' jokes, which seemed to be followed with a deadly silence...everyone must've been at the free bar!
