i also missed the results presentation - we left at midnight as our driver had an early start. Next year we will take the afternoon before and morning after off. Didn't see any celebs (ie SCD pros) as I couldn't take my eye of the comp and wanted to dance! I did meet up with some friends I hadn't seen in ages which was great, especially as they weren't really ballroom dancers, but modern jive - everyone sees the light in the end!!!

Hi Bendymixer

Having been remembering those past champions, I just discovered that you can get pro commentary by pressing the red button during the program. Actually not tried it, but will do this saturday. Apparently Philip Jackson and Ann Gleave did it last week.

Would love to see Killick back on SCD but I guess his studio keeps him busy.

Also, I'd really like to see some judges ousted and replaced by people like the Fletchers, the Barrs, maybe even Stopford (did anyone catch him on Faking It a while ago? It was hilarious!).

Is the Major Hancock still alive?!!

hi Thess,

Ah you bring back memories with those names, and yes have said it in the other forum about changing the judges - as much as Len is loved he is not in same league as those you mention.

Oh dear the major has been dead years!!!!! can still remember you winking at him at a competition in Wales - at the Bonanza - is a wonder he didnt have a heart attack

I was there last night, had a fantastic night enjoyed all the dancing. Enjoyed the amateur Latin. Darren and Lilia were outstanding I think they deffo should of been in the final, they where fab.
I dont really like James he smiled in the paso doble, Ola was good from what I saw she is a great dancer. But Darren and Lilia by far should of reached the final.

LOL Well you dared me!!!!

Very sad to hear he's gone. It was always somehow comforting to spot his green velvet jacket at a comp. Just something very familiar about it!

Funnily enough, so would I I adore the Killick, gutted when he never returned after series 2. No-one else compares.

Where do you find where the couples were ranked? I've only seen the results at dancesport and I'm assuming the semi results are ranked alphabetically. would love to see the reults of the individual dances as well.

Ok smiling in Paso is wrong, but generally I've got to disagree with the majority on here - I thought James was very good.
