I have just got back from Paris where I saw George Michael perform live. OMG that voice and performance was 'amazing' He makes that Robbie Williams look like an amateur (I saw Robbie last month at Leeds).

Glad you enjoyed it so much. Can't wait, as am seeing him at Earls Court next month and have been a life long fan - this will be first time I've seen him live.

You will NOT be disappointed. It was one of the best live performances I've ever seen.

That's great news. I'm going to see him in manchester next month so i can't wait. What type of a show was it? Was there any performance and imagery, dancers etc or was it just him on the stage singing?

Even Chico does that!

Back on topic, George is a bloody genius!

It was basically him on stage alternating between slow and fast songs. There was a huge screen behind him that showed images and videos. But the lack of gimmicks on the stage was made up by his overwhelming talent.

I can't argue with either of those statements.

I really wanted to go see him, but had nobody to go with. None of my friends like him at all. Hopefully there will be some video clips on youtube.

I like him, wish his musical output was more prolific though, another greatest hits, one cover album and one 'proper' album since the last one, he knows the fans will buy '25' for the three new songs and the re-working of Heal The Pain.

I've got tickets for the 2nd December and I grabbed a pair also the other week when the Wham! reunion rumours started.

I've been waiting bloody years for George to tour and for the first time since GN'R at Download, I'm genuinely excited about seeing these gigs.

AND there's the exclusive DVD for sale there.

Yup, me and my wife shall be at the same gig......although I suppose concert is a more appopriate term for someone of GM's stature.........

We're up in the gods though........can't say he's my cup of tea but my wife's a lifelong fan so I'm sure she'll enjoy it.......

I'm just relieved for her sake that it looks like the concert will go ahead........after some of GM's bizarre antics this year I wouldn't have been surprised if it had gone the same way as the Adam Ant concert we had tickets to see a few years back..............

Upto now there's been no support and I don't think there
will be one, although Mutya may pop up on a few to do the
new duet that's out soon.

Does anyone know what time he actually comes on stage?
Is there a support act before him?

I need to find out as I am heading straight in from work...

Ours arrived this morning, ordered via See Tickets (with whom I'm currently having a massive argument, but that's another story).

Second chance for anyone who couldn't get a ticket when
they first went on sale:

Michael plans Nurses-only concert

Must be a nurse though!
