I think it's all down to this thread, in all honesty. I think we've done well. But not well enough.

What about the Richard Blackwood appreciation bit of the thread too then? He's been gypped out of a place in the jungle! Can't ITV bosses sort something out before he ends up giving himself coffee enemas on live television again?!

Blackwood was on Bo In The USA tonight. I was absolutely shocked and surprised.

Who's da man?!

Seeing as the beloved Gaff and "the next Will Smith" are doing so well, how about we adopt and promote another pitiful z-lister? Any suggestions Homer?

Will Gary Lucy do? He has potential. Or Paul Danan.

Paul Danan has had more than enough exposure with his 'Love Island' and 'Fran, Danan and Somebody Else' series - I was thinking a bit more downmarket? Maybe Pete Beale? Save the Beale!

But Gary Lucy is actually doing quite well for himself, with an on-going role in the bill!

I vote for Jamie from Eastenders!

Ooh - I'd forgotten about him! I thought he'd left Eastenders to do "better things" and "work in Hollywood"? Isn't he married to that Hear'Say woman too?

Yep I think so, she's had parts in Corrie and Hollyoaks in the city!

I love it when actors leave soaps to do better things for and always disappear or wind up just doing panto for example Martin Kemp is now doing adverts for SCS, reclining on leather sofas looking dashing!

We must help Jack Ryder. He went on do to bigger and better things like Family Affairs.

He probably is now on the old rock and roll too now . I don't think Gaffers, Blackers and Greco even have time for the poor lad now.

There is a very selective system to get into the China White crew, I don't think Jack Ryder has been with a page three stunna

I have it on good authority that Jack is currently on tour in a play called The Safari Party, so I suppose he isn't doing too badly really - should we try for another zeleb non-enentity?

You guys are cracking me up.

At least Jack Ryder has his Misses to bring in the income. We need a more worthy cause.

Where in all of God's green goodness can we find someone who is even less of a zelebrity non-entity than the gaff and who da man blackwood?

I know! Lee "the latchford" Evans, he was kicked off of "Totally Boyband" by Bradley from S Club and that one out of 911 for being too crap

We need to save him! (and save us from a steps reunion!)

now that was pretty shameful and embarassing for him - being kicked out by washed up boyband members.

What would we like to see him doing these days??

I would like to see:

A return to the top 60 with the single "I'm the latch, you got the key"

A contestant of Celebrity Sheep Shearing hosted by Jake Shears

His autobiography "A step too far"

Perhaps a zelebrity marriage made in heaven to Nerinder from BB2, covered by Star magazine

ROFL at "I'm the latch - you got the key"

I'd pay good money for some kind of Z-List W**k-a-thon - not for any kind of sexual titilation, but purely to see which of our needy zeleb causes would be willing to pleasure themselves on live television

You have to save Latchford-Evans.

I watched Totally Boyband, and let's face it, if you were told to live in the same house as Bowers and the horse face from New Kids On The Block, you'd want to stay well clear from them too.

Nervinder from Big Brother 2 doesn't even deserve to be saved. I think we should lead her to believe she's invited to a big massive opening party, only for her to discover it's a boy called Tom opening presents for his birthday party. That would be immense.
