Strictly Come Dancing - Going Downhill!

The ratings are going down......

It is a shame, but i think the 'boys one week' and 'girls the next' is bringing it down

if they carry this on, it will be 1 boy 1 girl in the final
it's getting more and more predictable

its a shame, i used to be hooked when it first started

They should bring back the old rules

Shouldn't they??

The boys one week and the girls the next is only for the first two weeks

The ratings were good last week! Who know what tonight's ratings will be as its directly up against X Factor but I hope SCD wins

Next week it goes back to the old system

I would think they started that way because there were more entrants this year and they couldn't fit them all in to dance in one programme, so I assume when it gets down to 12 couples they'll go back to the way it was.

That right, it was nearly 3 million up on last year's opening episode.

Phew, I was scared there for a minute! I wish they'd gone back to having 10 couples, though, I thought there were already too many last year, it can drag a bit when there are so many.

UP YOURS COWELL!!

Saturday Overnights

1 …. 8.8 (38.2%) …. Strictly Come Dancing (19:45) BBC1
2 …. 8.4 (35.9%) …. The X Factor (20:30) ITV
3 …. 8.2 (37.0%) …. Robin Hood (19:00) BBC1
4 …. 7.4 (34.4%) …. Strictly Come Dancing (21:45) BBC1

10 … 4.0 (19.1%) …. Afterlife (21:30) ITV

Got this from the ratings thread, but X Factor have started their live performance and knockout stages this week so who knows.
Strictly also have ITT to keep people interested and excited for the main show which helps ratings.
