Yes Cat agree they are 'good' but we have 3 top ballroom dancers in the UK that can make the top championships including the worlds 'they' are not involved with SCD I wonde if its because those couple who concentrate on ballroom usually dont do latin? yes there are mighty exceptions ala the Hiltons who were world amateur latin champions but went on to be world professional ballroom champs

I think Ballroom pros are generally not as good at latin as latin pros are at ballroom. It would be nice to have abit more of a balance though.

suppose we have that balance on the show with vincent and flavia who are a decent world 10 dance standard

I do, they are fantastic dancers and for me they are the best on SCD. I wasnt to keen on the Jive last night too many of them on the floor. But loved Darren and Lilia, Matt and Nicole were fab also. As for sexual chemistry I think they show plenty obviously in some dances than others.

That pro dance was SO amazing.

I wish I had more pairs of eyes. Seeing as mine were taken up with watching Karen and Brendan! Can't wait to watch it back now, having seen it live.

Did anyone find the swirly cameras completely distracting when they were watching it? I really wish I'd seen it live if only so that I could appreciate the full effect rather than trying to adjust to aerial shots followed two seconds later by a close-up on the top half of one dancer, followed another two seconds later by cameras zooming around a couple, followed by distance shots...

It was just a mess, for me it really reduced my enjoyment of an otherwise amazing performance.

Eeek, watching it on TV might not be as good as in the flesh then, no?

They would be absolutely PERFECT for SCD in my opinion, they seem like really nice people as well as being amazing dancers, I'd be over the moon if they were to take part in a future series.

Alan has such humour and I remember him as really friendly nice guy - must remember to ask Paul my brother next time I see him

Pro dance (Jive) was fast and furious but sharp as anything. Loved the scarf thing - thought it really added to the choreography and the choice of music had me jumping in my seat!

Good comments all on past pros and in particular couples who eschew one discipline in favour of another. It must be said that any couple specialising in competitive Ballroom dance has a longer career than those specialising in the Latin discipline.

Oh god...I see another 'battle of the chests' competition coming up on ITT. Well I suppose it's more ideas to keep Ian involved now he's not in the competition and that's all good. Expect to see him in his local gym soon so that he at least wins something on SCD this year.

I should be able to upload this dance, and last week's dance, either today or today.
