Although I love and adore SCD I am so not liking the seperating of the male and female celebs. . Will it always be like this or was it just because we have more couples this season. i am finding it hard to keep track of everyone. I hope they mix everyone up again in the next stages?

It's back to normal next week. It's only because they had so many couples.

I dunno last year they voted most of the females out and it spent weeks with just Patsy and Zoe... I'm not saying that I like the format just I don't know it...

Anyways I just wanna see Brendan, Anton and Vincent dance every week, my life will just not be worth it if they all go after losing the F1 next week (and Schumi for good ) and JC and Gino this week... Plus not forgetting poor Ian...

I think the separate format is fairer in the early stages of the competition - the men only have to compete against other men who are also having to learn how to lead, rather than the women who can get more help from their professional partner. It also gives them all 2 weeks to learn a dance when they are true beginners.

They should have kept the separate format for the next two weeks until they were down to 5 men and 5 women and then combine them - trying to squash 12 dances in next week will be too much. The judges wil be rushed and Brucie will be interrupting them, and people will be shouting "can I just say ...". I don't like it when it turns into a shouting match.

Thankfully the Beeb has increased the length of the program this week, to fit them all in. It's 1 hr 30 mins this week, rather than 1 hr 10 mins last week.

But it won't stop Brucie interrupting...

I like the idea, making the programme able to concentrate on the couples cos there are fewer to fit in the 1 hour plus show, this I think is a great idea cos for the first couple of weeks we just get the briefest introduction to the couples and 90 seconds later someone is on their way out.

PLUS there is the psychological idea that no one was the FIRST to leave they were the first male or female celeb, OK doesn't work for Nick, BUT there you go.

Now they are having all the couples on this Saturday I fear the show could be rushed, judges only giving the briefest comment and no pro dance or group dance for a few weeks.
