I thought he was awful last night.

No passion,no excitement,nothing..

The judges praised it so am abit confused.

He was wicked at Sharon's hotel but i thought he was naff last night.

I'm taking into consideration it's the first show and he was the first on so he must have been nervous but still Eaton Road were awesome..

What do you guys think?

I've never seen what was so great about his voice. Yeah he can sing but he isn't as wonderful as the judges made out last night and I don't get it either
I could barley hear him at times and I hated all the jumping around and stuff. I know he was excited but it was irritating.

I didn't think he was good - in fact, for the first half of the performance, I thought he was downright BAD. I enjoyed the second half though, he was much better at belting than the rest of it.

Robert was better vocally at bootcamp.

I didn't like his singing on final night

however he had a good performance.

He does have a great voice if you're into that sort of thing ie Joe Cocker Rod Stewart, but neither of them are my thing - I much preferred Eton Rd - They did the performance of the night for me. What a great voice Anthony has and he looks so

I thought he was terrible last night. Out of tune and irritating and inconsiderate during the results.

Robert is the weakest in the competition, if the first live show is anything to go by. Nothing special about the voice he has...and not much voice either. I find it hard to believe that he wasn't in the bottom two.

i think he sounds alright, not winning potential but i enjoyed his performance.

he sounded a bit out of tune to me. After hearing him sing Crazy last week to Sharon, i was expecting better of robert this week as he was really good singing that

He was really out of tune - and really not that good. Eton road were outstanding in comparison.

Are you guys kidding? He's got an incredible voice, smooth yet powerful.

It just goes to show people's different likes and dislikes. I thought Robert was a little off key once or twice in his song (most of them were), but it's a pretty rubbish song and certainly not a classic like My Girl. Having said that - I really like Robert's voice, and I like him. I think he's genuine, emotional, honest and as the first performer up on Saturday night he did a great job.
Eton Road on the other hand do nothing for me. Not vocally, not musically, not personality wise...

I think Robert is great, personailty + and a soulful yet mellow voice.

His POTENTIAL is enormous compared to the majority of the other contestants.

A voice, style and exuberance that could well make him popular outside of the UK too.

And thrice a Yup! Love the guy, he has soul and warmth in his voice and really sings the songs with emotion. Makes me laugh when he talks though as he does sound like Frank Bruno!!

I thought he was seriously out of tune.
So I couldn't understand how the judges were giving him such rave reviews.
