I don't think this song is that great to be honest. I did really like I'm Not Okay though.

Can't wait for the album!

Must admit to not liking Kasabien at all, but, what they said about Emos is entirely correct. They just feel sorry for themselves ALL the time, I'm a teenager, not everything is fair, but so what, get on with it.

And Emo Music, Oh My God, that is what is getting these emo's down, not their "tough life"

Eurgh, pointless feeling sorry for yourself really annoys me!

I have to agree (with possibly the exception of the new Killers song, though it isn't that great tbh).

I hate when people go on about the charts and the top ten. Why does it bother people so much?

Because it shows how much bollocks people are buying

Though to be fair, there have been a good varied selection of genres making the UK #1 so far this year..

Guitar based acts like : Arctic Monkeys,My Chemical Romance,Orson & Razorlight.

R'n'B : Neyo & Notorious B.I.G.

And pop divas like Madonna,Shakira & Beyonce... for example.

2 or 3 years ago you couldn't have a UK #1 unless you were a boy band (Westlife/Busted) or a ITV Pop Idol act (Gareth Gates/Will Young).

It's been a good year for UK #1s in 2006 'til now.(Chico & Lily Allen excepted).

Who cares about the "bollocks" people are buying? I am rather pleased that no one buys the stuff I listen to.

Erm, So your glad that the music you like isn't being bought and therefore then the artists you like don't make enough money to continue and therefore have to stop making new music.

I hate when people think they are cool cos they don't listen to "mainstream" music. Quite funny actually how geeky and sad the people who see themselves as cool actually are

Why does everyone have to be put in boxes and categories? I like music like MCR aswell as many other genres (Seriously, I have Busted albums ) yet if you knew me, you wouldn't think it at all.

Sorry, it just really pisses me off when people who dress a certain way or like a genre of music are given labels.

The aristes I like have done very well for themselves despite not riding high on the charts, I do want my favourite artistes to make some money that's why I buy their albums and go to their gigs when I can. I think it is safe to say they aren't starving cos some of them have released 3 or 4 albums - which is more than some of the artistes currently on the charts and they have toured various venues.

I do not think I am "cool" for not listening to mainstream artistes - quite the opposite really and I love that. I am geeky and I love my odd geeky music.

Just out of interest, what kind of music do you like then?

I find some of them hard to categorise into genres - I love acoustic, folksy stuff and "alternative" stuff like "The new pornographers, Clap Your Hands say yeah!, Cute is what We aim for, David Ford, Devendra Banhart, Sufjan Stevens, Rachel Yamagata, The sounds . . . you get the picture.

Before anyone thinks I am a music snob, I also listen to some mainstream stuff too. I like snow patrol, razorlight, Holloways, gavin degraw, weird al .

I just found out early on that that the charts do not cater to my tastes and from word of mouth I checked out some artistes and loved them.

You sound like my kind of girl, especially with those artists you listed . You're certainly not a snob just because you like non-mainstream artists rather than the crap in the charts.

I have a couple of recommendations you might like....Joanna Newsom's new record is out soon and it's one of the best albums of recent years imo. I'm expecting it to top the end-of-year lists like Sufjan last year and Arcade Fire before that. Also, there is a new band called Born Ruffians who are sort of like Clap Your Hands.... i.e. a bit odd but very good.....oh, and Bat For Lashes, Tokyo Police Club, The Mugs.....
