come on Simon change the script, when he was commenting on 4Sure's performance I knew he was going to launch into the 'tuning issues' phrase before he even said it.

He's got enough money, surely he can pay someone to come up with some new phrases!

Edit: I've just seen someone else had made a thread about X Factor cliches, didn't mean to tread on anyone's toes!!

Yeah

you owned the stage used to be origonal. It think I first heard if from Nicki from Pop Idol, but it does my head in now.

Louis is the worst - all his comments were interchangable with whatever act.

And he always begins with "Hey guys!" and "I t'ink" and at the end "This is so hard... "

It's not hard - it's a piece of cake!

Then there`s...........

"I think you`ve just lost the competition with that performance."

and

"I think you`ve just won the competition with that performance."

'That was distinctly average' by Simon. Or louis's compliment of 'You're young...' maybe the 25's & overs should stay at home as they're lacking this 'quality' ( Not imo but in louis's....i'm 25 years young! )

What about Louie on nearly every performance;

"You remind me of a young ?????????"

He said it to nearly all acts this week.

And then Simon;

"Actually I agree with Louie"

Simon's analogies, usually involving a "ghastly wedding" or village fete!

I always like the "POTIENTIALLY you are..." line he delivers. He always sticks the potientially in to cover himself if it goes pear shaped.

I would love him to say I love you to me

"I'm not gonna patronise you..."

"You are what this show is all about..."

and the famous " I have to tell you guys"

Louis said to every single one of his acts "I'm glad I picked you", which was a blatant lie in some cases.

Also "Don't listen to Simon"

I can just hear Simon saying the things you've quoted! God that voice, he's so gorgeous!!
