Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy - 21st November 2006

Apparently it's been confirmed that the album will be released on Tuesday 21st November as clues were given out to the date on publicity announcements for the Chinese Democracy tour. The actual date was seemingly then confirmed in Rolling Stone. Anyone got any news?

I can't wait for it personally. I know it will be alot different than what we have known to be Guns N' Roses, but I'm not one of those people who instantly dislikes a band because a certain member has left or they put out material that is different than what came before. I'd rather an artist experimented with new ideas rather than churning out the same old pap over and over. Come on November, I can't wait!

I think that's a typo.

It's in fact released in 2060.

You have to wonder if they would have been better off dumping this album and recording something new with the energy and edge they showed on their recent tour...

The "Industrial Sounds" experiment might have been cutting edge when written and when recording started but now, several years on???

Still, I have no doubt that although it will not be GnR as we knew them it will still be worth a listen.

This has been delayed for so long that I really don't care any more.

Axl is just ruining the image of a fantastic band which should have been left alone years ago.

To my mind they ain't Guns 'n' Roses. It's Axel Rose and friends.

I have to admit the new songs they they play live a pritty good but I'm looking forward to a new Velvet Revolver album more.

Well, some reviews I have read from people who have had advanced copies of the songs have stated that although the sound is different, the album is very good, and some of the songs are even better than some of their previous material.

Even Slash has stated that he has heard it and he thinks it is great and can't wait for it to be released so the fans can hear it too. It's been a long time coming.

I'll believe it when I see it. How many years now has that album been 'coming out' for?!

I'm not sure how many years it has been coming out, but many people include the years where Axl said he was *going* to make a new album as part of the waiting time, which is stupid.

It will be released on 21st November, I know it will, and I'll be first in line to buy it.
