So pleased we've got a British UFC World Champion , ive never been keen on Bispings trash talking i dont think he is very good at it tbh, he just sounds like a knob imo, but he's done it he's world champion now so i'm happy for him.
I didnt think Bisping would win before the fight tbh, until the bell rang for the start of the fight , then i thought Bisping might just knock Rockhold out , Rockhold was so static, no head movement , his chin was in the air and he was standing straight up, i think he thought a few kicks would get rid of Bisping, but he was there to be knocked out, it actually gave me pleasure to see it happen, i think he deserved to be knocked out for not respecting his opponent. Interesting to see Brock will be back , looks like it might be for UFC 200 ,, and apparently McGregor v Diaz is back on, although i doubt it will be in time for 200. |

The entire setup has worked out conveniently well for Dana; 200 will sell because of it's name and now has the extra security of Brock, whilst McGregor will be used to prop up a lesser PPV later down the line: Personally I can see the next few PPV's going like this: 200- Jones vs Cormier 201- Lawler vs Woodley (Mighty Mouse co-main) 202- Diaz vs McGregor 203- Miocic vs Overeem (Tate/ Nunes vs Holm co-main) 204- Bisping defense in England 205 (MSG)- McGregor vs Edgar/ Aldo 206- Jones/Cormier vs Rumble 207- Ronda's return |

199 was a great card. One of the best I have seen, even sweeter with Bisping winning. The only thing that let it down for me was not taking the 16-1 odds on a Bisping win. I should've stuck a fiver on it.

Wow gutted about Kimbo Slice. He seemed a genuine nice guy away from the cage. Only 42 as well, no age at all

Props to Bisping. I always thought him a bit of a joke but after taking the fight to the drug cheat Andersen Silva and beating him after that rather underhand knee from Silva that obliterated his nose and from which Silva then tried to claim that he'd won the fight, I still didn't give him much of a chance against Rockhold.
Rockhold beat Weidman who I really rate as a fighter, so the odds were stacked against Michael. Credit to him though, he believed in himself and proved that a little self confidence can go a long way. He deserved the win. The post fight conference was great fun. Luke displayed some real venom to Michael calling him a maggot that he would f****ing kill. That is why Michael was giving it right to him in the press conference. Certainly building the pot for the final one in the trilogy. I couldn't stop chuckling to myself after the fight. Bisping, a world champion, amazing! |

Kimbo tested positive for steroids in his last fight, maybe they played a part, the other guy DaDa apparently had two heart attacks in the cage.
A bit sudden, I wonder if he only started taking them recently being a street fighter for the most part of his life, a shock to the system perhaps. |

They announced Philip 'CM Punk' Brooks trip to hospital at the hands of Mickey Gall will be on September 10.
I suppose Brooks is brave to do it, but this feels like that episode of Friends where Monica's boyfriend was sure he could do UFC. |

Jon Jones flagged by USADA for potential anti-doping violation. He’s out of UFC 200.

I can't imagine UFC would ever put him in a main event again, given how unreliable he is. |

I'm beyond annoyed at Jones. What a joke he is. Time after time he says he's learned his lesson and it's proven to be bullshit all over again. I'm sick of fight cards falling apart due to injuries left, right and centre as it is...but when you've got dumb arrogant pricks like Jones who thinks he can repeatedly break the rules and get away with it that makes it ten times more annoying.
I wish they'd just fire him at this stage, although no doubt they don't want him popping up elsewhere. Full 2 year ban or more please USADA |

What an idiot, even though the card is stacked I think we were all looking forward to that one.
I'm happy we have Lesnar although for someone who doesn't like to be hit to return and face a knock-out artist like Mark Hunt, I remember when he faced Cain he looked terrified, ran out and fell all over the place, this is an intriguing fight. |

Guess there's no-one that Cormier can fight now then at such late notice? Brock Lesnar now the main event proper, bet the WWE love the exposure of that, unless he gets taken out by Mark Hunt.

I don't mind Lesnar being on the card and there is some intrigue there for me, but as the main event is laughable.

I'm wondering if his confidence has gone,, he was pretty poor last time out when he won the interim title, being caught the first time is a mistake , second time has to be an excuse not to fight. Its about time Dana White got rid of him imo
