Fedor pretty much disproves this argument every fight! Did you see him deal with Tim Silvia (the UFC title holder not too long ago)? And who did Tim Silvia lose his title too? That's right, the much smaller and older Couture.

If you were right, Cabbage or Tank Abbot would be the UFC champ!

Anderson Silva's movement and take-down defence are second to none. His striking is also very accurate. It's quite easy to see what his game plan would be, but I've no idea how Lesnar would approach such a match.

As for Lesnar, you have to respect the guy. I was a huge doubter, but he has proven himself worthy of the title... also, I had money on him to win.

Jon Fitch has been cut from the UFC for not signing up to the computer game!

I see that Fedor has sent out a challenge to Lesner, now is the time to see if Lesner has any grapefruits!

Did you hear that Fedor got battered in a sambo tourney the other day? What's the betting that Dana tries to sign the guy up and market him as the man that owned Fedor?

Jon Fitch is now back in the UFC, he decided to sign the deal after all.

Better the devil you know and all that.

Randy Couture had similar problems by not allowing his image to be used in the first UFC videogame.

Morals don't pay the mortgage and their shelf-life is limited. If they want to make money from MMA they need to prostitute themselves.

Personally, I hate the money side of fighting. The larger the purses and fighter revenues, corruption isn't too far behind it.

It sounds like it was more a case of Dana losing his temper with the management team at the AKA camp.

It makes sense for them to sign up to the computer game, fighters like Jon Fitch need all the exposure they can get.

I dont see how signing away his lifetime rights to his name and likeness for a video game is a good thing. Fitch could leave UFC in 12 months for example and then he could never sell his rights away to any over video game developer ever again.

How can anyone say that this is a good thing?

Dana White is a **** and I dislike the guy.

such a shame that after Pride died that there is nowhere else for some of these fighters to go if they decide to leave the UFC.

In essence, I agree. No-one likes monopolies. However if say the UFC offer Fitch for example, $250,000 for sole use of his image - is that such a bad thing for him?

In the wider picture, how many other people are going to pay John for the use of his image in a videogame?

UFC is no doubt the most popular MMA organisation and with this comes fame, videogames and money - if fighters are on board this gravy train, they are going to benefit (as long as they're winning!).

What are your thoughts on the Griffin v Evans @ UFC92?

Personally I'm not a fan of either and don't they are good enough to have been let anywhere near the title. It'll be close but I think Evans will end up winning by decision.

Hi Jimbo.

UFC92 is massive.

I'm really looking forward to it and old Pride fans will be keen to see Wand vs Rampage III for the rush.

I'm not a major fan of Griffin, I think he struggles mentally but he is a greatly improved fighter. I hated Rashad in TUF as he was an arrogant and annoying arse - he did however turn it around after Matt Hughes chided him and he became quite a humble fighter, and I've rooted for him ever since.

Griffin will be panicking at that overhand right coming in and if Evans can avoid being kicked out of it and get closer inside, I think he's got a decent chance of KO'ing Forrest.

Very close fight to call but I have it down as Rashad by KO or TKO.

I hope Rampage gets some payback on Wand, as much as I love both fighters. Just to make it 2-1.

I hope Big Nog destroys Mir in a flurry of bone-breaking jiu-jitsu to march onto Lesnar territory.

Jorge Gurgel was cut and has signed with Strikeforce

Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou was also cut.

I think Forrest Griffin will decision Rashad Evans, both are good fighters but in my opinion Forrest is that bit better.

Thank God for Gurgel going. Anyone that tries to appease the crowd rather than following a logical gameplan is better off doing something like cabaret or stand up.

Loook at mee getting beaten up, I'm soooo exciting!!

Not sure about Sokoudjou, he had a couple of monster kills in Pride then didn't really back it up in the UFC. He seemed to have killer instinct until he got hit, then withered.

Yeah he looked like a powerhouse but just never seemed to use his size to his advantage.

I agree, it's about time Gurgel got cut Apparently he's got an awesome ground game but not that we'd ever know! He'd rather be a human punchbag and get the $$$ for fight of the night then try and win a fight.

Sokoudjou has been harshly treated in my opinion. He's had 2 losses to 2 top tier fighters, both of whom I rate higher than Evans and Griffin. He'll be back in a couple of years I'm sure.

Why is Machida so under-rated??? With the news that Randy v Chuck IV could well happen he must be wondering if he's ever going to get a title shot.

I think his style goes against him. A lot of the public see it as too technical, too defensive and going for a decision. There's no arguments against his record though but it's convincing the public, in hard times, to pay $$$ for a PPV.

Which PPV would you buy? Machida vs Liddell I or Couture vs Liddell IV?

I personally would go for the Machida fight as his style doesn't bother me, but I think the majority of the US public would want the latter.

Anyone see this: Enzo to the UFC?

I'd like to see him in the next TUF season although I doubt he'd win it and he certainly wouldn't knock Bisping out either. Instead of having a dig at Bisping he should be seeing if he can get involved with the wolves lair training camp if he's serious about going in to MMA.

Your thoughts?

If he did do this (and that is a VERY big if), the I think that he would loose and loose very easily.

He just doesn't have the all round skills to trouble anyone in the UFC.

A man with skills will always have a chance, but having only one facet in a multi-facet sport makes you pretty open to easy counter-attacks.

If Maccarinelli went into the Octagon with Bisping right now, the first thing Bisping would do is shoot on him and once on the floor, he'd be knackered. I doubt he'd know what to do after a roundhouse kick whistled past his head either, his training has included none of that.

The only thing to do would be join an MMA gym and see how you got on. If you think boxing alone will carry you in the UFC, you're dreaming - they got rid of that blinkered view years ago.

Puncher's chance. Not much else.

Marcus Davis does pretty good in the UFC.

He was never even close to being in the top 10 of the light middleweight division and was a can crusher who fought as low as Ricky Hatton's division 140lbs. The BBC's info is incorrect.

He made his debut in 93 too and retired in 2000. Plus he had a 3 year break from fighting before his debut in MMA.

Now he fights at 170lbs in the UFC.

He was no where near the boxer Enzo is and Enzo with 4oz gloves on makes Chuck Liddell's punching power look like that of a little girl.

The truth is that no boxer worth a toss has ever taken the sport of MMA seriously.

Enzo would be the best by far and the hardest puncher the sport has ever seen.

He knows full well that he'd need to cross train.

Here's some pics of Enzo rolling.

He's won matches in BJJ by the way.

Very interesting mate. Were you at that event or did someone else take the photos?

The open auditions for the next TUF season have closed now but maybe he'll make an appearance in the next one. It'd definitely be the best way for him to enter the UFC, would give him some excellent experience and would also make him a household name with MMA fans that don't follow boxing as closely.

There's also been rumours that Paul Daley might be joining the UFC in 2009. I'd definitely like to see that!

Did anyone watch the UFC: Fight For The Troops?

No massive names but it was pure horrorshow.

I don't think I've seen a more brutal night of fighting.

Ouch.

I've seen the stills of Hill's leg, pretty nasty!

Cantwell's armbar too, can't believe the other guy didn't tap.
