Two big events though before 94.

We've got Affliction 2 on Saturday Jan 24th. Fedor vs Arlovski and we have WEC 38 on the Sunday 25th with Faber vs Pulver II.

Some good MMA in the next fortnight.
Is any of that stuff on cable or do you watch it all online? I'd definitely be up for watching the Fedor v Arlovski fight.

I just download it the following day. I don't think it's available here.

Pretty good event, even though I've got some prelims left to watch.

Sokoudjou is getting predictable, doesn't knock them out straight away and loses heart - Babalu was up for it and finished in style.

Big Josh did what he had to do, that was a good win off a dangerous Yvel, possibly boring for some, but I loved Yvel's frustration at being took out of his game and beaten.

I loved the Paul Buentello fight. It was a proper scrap where he wore his opponent down and got the stoppage. Sidelnikov was a tough fella too.

Vitor looked good and didn't take him long to put Lindland on Queer St. I loved how they were talking about him being 31 like he was an old man. He's not even in his prime. We lost some good years due to his sister's predicament, but it would be nice to see him back.

Fedor made me edgy. I have complete faith in his concrete punches and his ice cold demeanour but I had this awful feeling that if Arlovski kept him at distance with kicks and threw big overhands, Fedor was going to go to sleep. We then learnt why he's so dangerous, and Arlovski went down like a jumping deer getting shot.

Good overall event but the scum that are getting in on the action ruined it for me. Tito Ortiz sounded like an overexcited schoolboy, his ring interview skills were horrific. We also had that drug-dealing prick Chuck Zito backstage interviewing Lindland's camp with thst Sonny idiot that sounds like he's got throat cancer.

I like Arlovski but he seems to have a bit of a glass jaw (relatively speaking of course). His game plan looked like it was going to frustrate Fedor, it's a shame that he got a bit carried away so early instead of sticking to it.

I was looking forward to seeing Fedor fight so was a bit disappointed that it all finished so soon, was a bit of an anticlimax I guess.

Still, GSP v BJ to look forward to now!

I might have some money on this card. BJ's odds are very tempting all things considered.

What are your predictions?

I like both fighters, but GSP is my favourite, so this is hoping more than a prediction. GSP needs to quit worrying and bring his brutal head.

Thiago Silva vs Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida

Jon Fitch vs Akihiro Gono

Dong-Hyun Kim vs Karo "The Heat" Parisyan

Nate Diaz vs Clay "The Carpenter" Guida

The other fights are coin flips, but I hope that classless little bitch Gamburyan gets demolished.

I've just watched the weigh-ins and they were all pretty good humoured.

There were a couple of fighters in the zone - BJ Penn looked his usual psychotic self, Gamburyan had small man syndrome and Nate Diaz was posturing.

Smile moment was when Gono came in with a huge afro wig and got weighed in it, he then gave it to Fitch at the stand-off and he put it on much to Gono's delight.

Looks a good night indeed.

Karo didn't look in good shape at all.

GSP looks like he'll be going into the fight a fair bit heavier than BJ.

Yeah, Karo did have a bit of pudge, but he's never been ripped.

Bonnar also had some serious tits.
