that last silva punch was hillarious, like swatting a fly...crazy

bj penn looked ace too

5 champs...5 legit p4p contenders(lesnar cos of his size)

could be years before we see a title change

heres hoping for hendo and shogun! the old guard can still do it!

Silva/Machida would be the most boring fight ever anyway.

Edit: UFC 101 was actually a reasonably entertaining event. The ad-breaks were heinous.

i thought 101 was a letdown, most of the matches were boring-ok,only 2 main events were good

strikeforce cards are usually good from start to end,ufc not so much lately

Good news about ESPN ad breaks between rounds during UFC. Marshall Zelaznik has posted this on his twitter account:

There will be few if any breaks between rounds during ESPN broadcasts of UFC in the UK. Still working on other UK TV stuff.

Should appease people who were annoyed by this at UFC 101.

Anderson Silva?? At what weight??

I'd be shocked if that happened.

They should put Mir in against Dos Santos.

Well it'd be interesting. I think Silva would probably beat most UFC heavy weights apart from the freakishly big ones like Brock & Carwin.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson has signed up to play Sgt Bosco 'BA' Baracus in the upcoming movie adaptation of The A-Team, it has been claimed.

According to The Sun, the Ultimate Fighting Championship star will take on the role made famous by Mr T in the 1980s TV show.

Everyone ready for UFC 102 tonight? I pick Randy Couture and Keith Jardine to win the 2 main fights.

Anybody any idea when UFC 105 tickets are due to go on sale?

As Randy and Nog are pretty washed up I not really bothered who wins you know. You cant book randy towards another title shot and I not sure you could even do that with Nog after he got beat bad by Mir. Nog winning is probably best for the UFC but he is on his way down.

A Randy vs Brock rematch is probably the biggest Heavyweight match UFC have left. I don't think Brock vs Nog would be quite as big, just because Nog seems to be so washed up. He'd have to win decisively tonight to redeam himself in the eyes of the UFC fans.

Couture did better against Brock than anyone else has.

BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez is off of UFC 105 as Dana White is trying to get the bout on network TV, supposedly FOX here in the States.

I've got Couture KOing Nogueira, Maia submitting Marquardt, Silva over Jardine, Vera beating the Soszynski, and Leben losing by decision.

Should be a great night of fights.
