You'd assume bad shoulder (?) guy is gonna get fed to Marcus for breakfast, but apart from that no. (Okay I have no inside info, but it's a reasonable guess!)
Yeh forgot about him, but presumably this is one of the reasons he decided to quit the UFC to make the film he has wanted to do ALL HIS LIFE.

Don't forget Rampage's worst fighter hasn't even been up yet. He is easily the worst coach in TUF history. All the smack talk between him and Evans is lame too now that we know they're not even going to be fighting at the end of it. This season sucks!

Anyone reckon Kimbo will be back to fill in for an injured fighter or is that just a rumour to keep the ratings up?

you do know the producers edit that stuff to make people look good or bad etc.

They done exactly the same to Ken Shamrock.

With a week out from the first caged fight card in the promotional history, DREAM has announced additional bouts for DREAM 12, scheduled for Oct. 25 at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan.

DREAM welterweight champion, Marius Zaromskis (12-3), who has been prominently featured in the promotional poster and trailer for the event, returns to action in a non-title bout against a Korean prospect, Myeon Ho Bae (8-4).

In the Middleweight department, Katsuyori Shibata (3-6-1) takes on Tokimitsu Ishizawa (7-1-3) in a showdown between pro-wrestlers, and Kazushi Sakuraba (25-12-1) returns for the second consecutive appearance this month to replace Melvin Manhoef against Zelg Galesic (9-4). Moving down the scale, Keisuke Fujiwara (4-0-1) squares off with Tomoya Miyashita (12-5-6).

Zaromskis makes his first DREAM appearance since winning the organization’s welterweight grand prix at DREAM 10. A Lithuanian native training out of London Shootfighter, Zaromskis cut his teeth in UK’s Cage Rage before making his DREAM debut.

He entered the welterweight tourney as a virtual unknown and considerable underdog: He sent a shockwave through the MMA world by upsetting tournament favorite, Hayato “Mach” Sakurai in the semi-final round with a high-kick TKO before dispatching Jason High with high-kick yet again to snatch the inaugural DREAM welterweight title.

His opponent, Bae is a veteran of M-1 and MARS who makes his DREAM debut. Having won seven of his last eight fights, Bae looks to maintain his momentum against Zaromskis.

Katsuyori Shibata recently snapped his losing streak with a unanimous decision victory over Ikuhisa Minowa at DREAM 8. His opponent and fellow pro-wrestler, Tokimitsu Ishizawa, returns to MMA for the first time in nearly three years. A veteran of now defunct K-1 Hero’s and PRIDE, Ishizawa notched the most significant victory of his career in 2000 when he defeated the outlaw of Gracie clan, late Ryan Gracie.

Fujiwara, a featherweight ZST prospect, makes his leap to the big stage to take on DEEP veteran, Miyashita. Despite having only five professional bouts under his belt, Fujiwara has been rising through the ZST ranks with undefeated streak. Miyashita, on the other hand, has won four of his last five fights.

Finally, Japanese MMA legend, Sakuraba, who returned to action at DREAM 11 after a 10-month layoff, now breaks a two-and-half week hiatus to take on Mirko Cro Cop understudy, Zelg Galesic. Sakuraba scored a quick submission victory over MMA debutant, Rubin Williams, at DREAM 11, while Galesic last fought at DREAM 6 more than a year ago. Galesic lost to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in the semi-final round of DREAM Middleweight grand prix via submission.

Following is an updated line-up for DREAM 12:

* Zelg Galesic vs. Kazushi Sakuraba
* Tokimitsu Ishizawa vs. Katsuyori Shibata
* Marius Zaromskis vs. Myeon Ho Bae
* Keisuke Fujiwara vs. Tomoya Miyashita
* Paulo Filho vs. Yoon Dong Sik
* Chase Beebe vs. Yoshiro Maeda
* Eddie Alvarez vs. Katsunori Kikuno
* Kuniyoshi Hironaka vs. Won Sik Park

Kimbo's still got enough public interest in him that I'd imagine he'll end up fighting on a UFC PPV no matter what happens on the show.

Yeah that's guarenteed. I heard that there's a rematch between him and Nelson being lined up for the finale which would suggest that neither make the final.

There's only so much they can do in the editing room.

5-0 speaks for itself. Turning up 5 minutes before one of his team fights and not bothering to go into the cage to console his fighters in the last 2 bouts is pretty poor. It's his fault that he picked such a poor team, picked awful match-ups and didn't prepare his fighters properly.

He should have taken the title fight against Machida rather than waste everyone's time on TUF and drop out of the Evans fight.

Didnt Jackson want that but the UFC wanted him to do TUF to build towards a match v Evans.

No, he ducked Machida because he said the title brings too much pressure.

Thoughts on UFC 104?

Not really grabbing me personally. I'm curious to see what shogun can bring and I'll watch the Yoshida match.

More interested in Griffin/Ortiz at 106 though. Both need a win and I'm gonna have to back my boy Forrest here. Of course Ortiz is gonna blame his back and be ungracious about it, though

I've never bought in to all the Forrest hype. The only thing he has going for him is his size. Unfortunately he doesn't have the chin or punching power to go with it.

4 Loses by Knock out is not really a bad record so I don't really get the whole chin thing.

Did you see the KO punch v Anderson Silva? That was just embarrassing. No wonder he ran straight out the building afterwards.

Yes, I did but to be fair, Silva is one of the toughest hitting fighters ever. Not many people take his punches well

I'd like to point out that Griffin was hit HARD by Silva about 3or so times and came back before the KO. Although a pretty terrible fight, it hardly gives weight to the weak chin argument.

happens in boxing too

amir khan is known to have a glass chin after just 1 KO in his whole career, not to mention it was 1 of the most brutal punches ive seen

but no, 1 KO and you have a weak chin

Exactly, people forget other moments in careers.
Griffin beat Rampage...Not a small hitter by any means.

Just got done watching Episode 6 and am left feeling it would have been better if they'd let Rampage fight Titties. Another Episode that just failed to deliver in the end. The previews in the previous weeks shows make them seem so much better. Yet again we see Rampage's Team lose and yet again talk of a Kimbo comeback. Change the script already.

UFC 106 should be good for a bet or 2. My picks are:

Machida
Velasquez
Stevenson
Rumble
Okami
Bader

No upsets please!

I disagree, I doubt even the pride shogun could beat Machida. Pretty sure Machida will get the KO but you never know with shogun, can catch you at any time..

Great to see we get the prelims again, looks like that's a regular fixture now.
