I honestly cant be asked to watch it. it would need me to go back 5 years and imagine that Chuck Liddell and Tito are top fighters in MMA.

I cant put myself through these two old guys working an angle to try and convince me they actually matter in the world of MMA.
Well the current rumour is Tito is injured and they're trying to set up Chuck/Randy 4. (Not a spoiler, because no one knows what the hell is going on, loads of rumours.)

It was a good show from the point of view that there looked to be a whole load of solid fighters in there, the fights were good.

The most laughable thing is Dana White loves to mouth off about other promotions and there matchmaking but he has no problem booking trash.

Remember thsi week week its old man Matt Hughes v Renzo Gracie. Shocker!!!

Am looking forward to the Rampage Jackson - Rashad Evans fight at 114 ( especially after all the 'bad blood' at TUF 10 ' Heavyweights ' ), also seeing Forrest Griffin and Diego Sanchez back as they are two of my favourite fighters.

Starting now, no waiting until three in the morning.

Looks like a good card, lots of well known faces.

WTF happend tonight, BJ looks out of shape and not himself, Anderson seems to have a mental breakdown lol. Dana isnt too happy in the post fight presser, apparently walked out of the fight after round 4, what a nightmare for your first ppv in a new territory, hopefully we see Anderson given an opponent he cant dick around with next time, Vitor, GSP or maybe an elite 205er.

Main event was a disgrace!!

Pride in Japan wouldnt of had that. You would get yellow cards for lack of action which meant a 25% cut in wages. A good idea!!

It isn't pro wrestling, but (former WWE writer among other things) Paul Heyman was at 111, presumably telling Brock what to say in his interview.

anderson silva was a joke tonight. The main even was possibly the worst fight I have ever seen in any combat sport.

They should just tell Anderson to forfeit the title, or defend it on undercards or free TV specials in the future. He should move up to LH or HW. I certainly don't want to see him vs GSP.

I wonder if BJ Penn will get an immediate rematch with Edgar? I would guess he would if he wants one. I was hoping he'd permanently move up to Welterweight.

The big question with Silva vs GSP is what kind of reaction Silva fighting style in the last few fights has caused with the main UFC ppv buying public. Does Silva have heel heat in that people will pay to hopefully see him get his butt kicked by GSP or do they not want to see Silva fight full stop. I suppose they will have to do the fight and see what buyrate they get.

Personally, I would move Penn upto 170, but with Silva and GSP in there as well, UFC may feel that too many of their stars are in one division and it leaves other divisions without starpower.

I doubt they'd move BJ to 170 as I'd guess they'd think he has little chance of ever beating GSP. I think they'll do Edgar/Penn 2.

I reckon they'll move Anderson Silva to 205. Dana's clearly going to do something: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2wlP_Vj3W0

You cant do that as you are then burying your own title. The hope is that Silva loses the title but that isnt going to happen. If he was made to give the belt up you would then have a new champion who never really beat the 'real champion' so they would look weak.

i just hate pro wreslting absurd negativity seeping into mma

as for silva,i found him extremly disrespectful towards maia,he says maia disrespected him by saying he would rip off a limb but thats just pre fight build up surely,he apologised straight after fight but it didnt seem sincere too me, love to see anderson lose, wether its KTFO by belfort and GNP by gsp, prefer belfort though

apaprently bj penn switched camp back to hawai where he doesnt work himself so hard, could tell in his conditioning if this is indeed true, shame.

Just thought i'd start a thread about UFC, it will probably sink without a trace but what the hell.
I think it will wipe boxing off the map over the next decade.
Sorry to spoil your fun but UFC is the new wrestling, nothing like the noble art, total fake, IF it was for real each fight would be over in about 90seconds.

Wrestling and MMA share many things including audience. Vince McMahon is rumoured to be trying to get countries in Europe to ban MMA, to protect his business.

If UFC was found to be faked in any way, the Fertittas would lose their licence to run casinos in Las Vegas which would cost them countless billions of dollars. There is no way faking a fight would be worth the chance of getting caught. Why do you think they keep using Steve Mazzagatti as a ref? They wouldn't if they had any say in the matter.

UFC 115 Main Card

Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin (Main Event....no Tito. He pulls out of TUF later in the season.)
Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves (not confirmed yet)
Mirko Cro-Cop vs. Pat Barry
Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago
Carlos Condit vs. Rory Macdonald
Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham

Preliminary Card

Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
James Wilks vs. Peter Sobotta
Mike Pyle vs. Jesse Lennox
Claude Patrick vs. Ricardo Funch

Two geezers fighting at UFC 115 as the main event. At least this one will have fireworks.

Think they're going to have trouble selling that PPV.

I do agree with your viewpoint, but Chuck has been a draw in the past. It's his first fight in a while, so it may attract buyers.
