Can Chuck Lidell now finally retire. The guy is shot to pieces. His never had a great chin but now cannot take any shots at all.

That Cro-Cop victory was incredible.
Very entertaining card except for Kampmann/Thiago. |

In fairness he probably would have won if he had lasted 5 seconds longer, assuming someone would have noticed Franklin's arm was broken between rounds 1 and 2. C'est la vie.Brock Lesnar apparently sent lawyers to the Nevada State Athletic Commission last week in an attempt to avoid getting Steve Mazzagatti as referee on July 3rd. The commission said Lesnar didn't get to influence the choice of referee, but they weren't going to use Mazzagatti anyway. Shame. |

any idea when bravo will broadcast the fedor fight?
I couldn't wait that long to see it, bad enough trying to avoid a web page with the results on as it is. |

EDIT: Perhaps his salary demands were too high? All I can think of. |

Chris Leben has some balls! Knocked out Aaron Simpson last week and now is fighting Akiyama next week on short notice after Wanderlei Silva injured himself. |

Dan Hardy vs Carlos Condit confirmed for UFC 120, which will be on October 16th, somewhere in the UK.

Great stuff still uber-proud of hardy for his performance (kicking recieved) in the GSP fight, i dont think anyone can match gsp right now and to merely survive against the bloke is atestament to his grit and heart, even if his techniqure and natural skill cant quite cut it against the man.

And Brock coming back form that first round!
![]() Some have criticised his stand-up in this fight -- he may not have even landed a shot, maybe a couple of knees. But I think that kind of criticism is foolish. Of course Brock isn't going to stand and trade with Carwin. Carwin's striking is far too dangerous. The Fedor fans insist Brock would stand no chance against the Russian. But if he can take Carwin's shots, and outclass him on the ground, surely a fight with Fedor would go the same way. Carwin is a far better wrestler than Fedor and has the kind of frame you need if someone as big as Brock is on top, but Lesnar had no difficulties finishing the fight. You could also argue Carwin is the heavier hitter, although Fedor has heavy hands too. Too bad we'll never see Fedor in the UFC. |

I thought we were in for another Fedor type shocker when I saw Brock running away, the guy is a beast and he is doing that.
![]() Thought the Ref was going to stop it a couple of times, lucky he kept his cool. Loved the wink and smile they gave each other at the start of the second round.

Not sure you guys saw the awesome KO via slam by Gerald Harris against Dave Branch in the preliminaries.
Fight was kinda dull then in the 3rd round Harris just slammed him unconscious. |
