As for Fedor, while overrated if you ask me, him going against Lesnar would be awesome IMO. No clue if we'll ever actually get to see it due to the horrendous agents and people working around Fedor, but let's also remember that Fedor has a hell of a lot of experiance compared to Lesnar. People seem to forget how few fights Lesnar has had and how few years he's been in MMA. He's done amazingly well for the short time he's been around. If the two locked up, it could go either way really. Lesnar certainly wouldn't find it easy to submit Fedor, but Lesnar could get him down and his GnP is lethal. At the same time, Fedor has great submissions and class stand up. It'd be a tough one to call and Fedor would go in favorite due to experiance really.
Regarding the Carwin injury, gutted to be honest. Apparently Cro Cop may be stepping in or even Nog. This COULD possibly set up Carwin/Lesnar II as well.”
Lesnar vs Fedor isnt a close fight at all.
Lesnar is nowhere near the level of fedor. Anyone who thinks he is has probably only seen Fedor fight twice in strikeforce. Seriously go back and watch his matches in Pride and then tell me that it will be a close fight.
Fedor would beat him very easily. Brock Lesnar does not know how to duck and roll with punches, Fedor would pick him off easily! Damn, I would also fancy Josh Barnett to beat Lesnar with little difficulty also.
Lesnar's offence and defence is average/poor.
Also the people around Fedor are the people he actually wants around him. You do know that Fedor owns a share in M-1 Global right? It was Fedor who was unhappy with UFC's offer and not his agents.
