as expected daley killed the guy and kong even predicted the exact outcome too. its a shame daley is banned from ufc as he kind of caps the level he can get too. he suppose to be getting a title fight in strikeforce so maybe he will be holding 2 belts very soon. Quote:
I think Fitch doesn't have the profile or reputation he deserves as a really tough guy to beat, simply because of his dull style. Here's a phrase you will never hear: "Wow, did you see the Fitch fight last night!!" (Watch me eat my words tomorrow...)

Bisping was very lucky not to get DQ'd there.
Great show so far, but can Fitch spoil it? |

Great show so far, but can Fitch spoil it? with the illeagal knee i felt that he thought the guy was going to stand up and you can see his ankle twitch but then he stays on his knees, so for me it was was just mistimed. the bj fight was decent and i thought a draw might be the outcome although if i had to award a win it would of been fitch as the first 2 rounds were very close but the 3rd was defo a 10-8. |

why the random hate?
Thought BJ was amazing in those first 2 rounds, no one outside of GSP has done that to Fitch, just a shame he always seems to gas late on in fights. |

Did you see the fight, i wouldnt call it random hate. After the illegal knee Bisping starting celebrating to the crowd, then at the end of the fight called Rivera a loser and got in his face, he also spat at his cornermen. No need for any of it, had he been the bigger man and simply done his talking in the ring he would have turned a lot of fans around, instead people hate him more than ever.

He's always doing this, he's not doing UK MMA any favours. Hyping up a fight is one thing but he really needs to grow up, effing this, effing that in the pre fight banter as well.
also his a fighter and your issue with him is that he swears lol |

It gives the sport a bad name, this is probably why they can't get into New York. I mean spitting at people.

Chael Sonnen called out Bisping today as well. God knows if UFC will do that, potentially a really big fight, but could be a disaster.

if theres no title shot in it, then really his a pointless fight for bisping as he goes into it with alot to lose. personally i still dont know if bisping can cut it against the top level guys and sonnen showed a pretty high level against silva although god knows if he was using at the time. hell this fight might of already been made as ufc do seem to like building hype for there fights and it can be hard to know how much of it is real at times. |

Was told by a fellow MMA fan that five have started showing fights. Caught it just in time to see Belfort dropped by a kick to the jaw. WTF? Sure Silva is a great fighter but Belfort shouldn't be getting caught like that. Went right through his guard as well.
Didn't see the previous fights you guys are talking about but feel confident in stating that Bisping was a pratt. Because he generally is.... |

There is no way on earth that Bisping mistimed that illegal knee, he knew exactly what he was doing, hence the reason that he walked away and started jeering and getting the crowd going. He did it on purpose and should have been disqualified.
I understand that he was angry, they guy and his corner said a lot about Bisping and his family but you know what, he can give it, he has to learn to take it. He is OK against mediocre competition, no way can he take on the top of the tree though, no way. |

Looking at Diego's face after the fight, was he really the winner, or did his face prove otherwise!

UFC are moving their PPV's back an hour from April apparently, so they'll be on 2-5am UK time, not 3-6.

Terrible news, especially with both main MMA promotions in Japan likely folding. It makes UFC effectively a monopoly.

for me its a bit of an odd move considering he says they will stay separate, surely expanding the ufc would of been a better move.
