Daley has been burning his bridges on facebook, probably not the most sensible thing he could do.

Wrestling Observer suggested Fedor's contract is for a lot of money, Strikeforce needed finance and Zuffa ended up buying the whole thing. C'est la vie.

Overeem will be gone. He will never sign an exclusive deal with the ufc as that means he can't fight in Japan and there is no way he will give that up.

There's not a chance Overeem will be gone. And you can quote me on that one.

Dont think we will ever agree on whether he did it purposely or a genuine mistake, and debate is always good. In my opinion he knew exactly what he was doing.

I agree that the other side said stuff that was unacceptable but Bisping is no angel. The family stuff said against him was a step too far but spitting at his corner men after the fight etc was just an idiot response. He had won the fight, did what he set out to do and those actions were not acceptable and he should have been reprimanded by Dana but as he is the UK poster boy obviously that will never happen.

I just dont like Bisping, he thinks he is way better than he actually is. I hope that he is put into the octogan with people that he thinks he is as good as so as he can see just how far behind these guys he is.

it seems not

i know bisping has a big mouth but for me theres a line and family is low, he was wrong to spit after the fight but it was in an adrenaline fuelled moment and he said sorry moments later publicly. as he said sorry of his own free will i think that enough to be honest.

on his talent i think his a good fighter but agree he isnt at the top level of his division and i am not sure what would happen against some like sonnen.

MMA in Japan is on it's last legs. Sengoku has pretty much closed up shop and DREAM have no events scheduled for the forseeable future, their last event was September last year.

That is correct. However that's totally different to overeem given a choice saying no to Japan. If k-1 is still operational then they will pay overeem handsomely. Unless ufc are ready to pay him a lot of money I can't see him ditching Japan.

I've not said he'll 'ditch' Japan, but I don't believe for one minute Overeem will be gone. Right now there's still a lot of details to be announced on this situation. 'Reem will stick with Strikeforce, certainly more so because he's the champion. And the possibility of future matches is fantastic.

This is all without even taken into account many other things. Fedor was in talks with UFC and could of fought in Sambo tournaments too, despite people believing they wouldn't allow that. Overeem has been in previous negotiations with UFC and would happily of signed on the right terms. Not to mention Overeem recently said he's now fully commited to MMA. I don't think there's any real doubt that he wont be gone actually.

Overeem goes where the $$$ is. He has said he was commited to MMA before and then 1 week later K-1 announce he has been booked for World Grand Prix. K-1's future is up in the air at the moment so it all depends on there plans for the future.

Overeem could give up K-1 if UFC offer him a great deal but I wouldnt say it is a given. As for UFC allowing him to fight in UFC and K-1 at the same time. Not a chance in hell!

Dana would never allow it!

No one hypes a fighter like the UFC does.If Overeem does come to the UFC then they'll hype the sh*t out of him.If they give him a cut of the PPV buys like GSP,Lesnar etc then he could walk away with anything between $1-$5 million per fight.
He won't need Japan and would only have to fight 2-3 times a year.

Rumours online today suggest Shane Carwin maybe parachuted into the Strikeforce Heavyweight GP.

Your forgetting that Overeem may still want to fight in K-1 and UFC as he loves kickboxing!

Really hope they will go against what Dana said recently and actually move some guys around between Strikeforce and UFC.

Whilst separate companies works in one way, not utilising dream fights and mixing the rosters would be surely flushing money down the toilet.

No doubt he loves K1 but his goal was to win the Grand Prix and he did that last year.

Dana also said at the press conference CroCop isn't getting another UFC fight, making 128 a likely ignoble end to his career.

good on paper and pre-fight hype but tonights card was a let down for me.

i dont like it when fights talk up a fight and get in there a pussy out of them claims and thats what johnson did with his talk of wanting to stand and bang with hardy but instead went mainly for the lay and pray.

the main event was ok but predictable, thank god the zombie pulled off that twister otherwise it would been a very poor night.
