Anyone know what the hell $ky are doing with TUF13? No adverts, no listings, no comment and it has already started in the US. Whoever sold TUF to $ky should have his arse kicked.

Do people actually still care about TUF!

I have no interest in it at all. ratings are not great on Spike either!!

Spoiler

he put in a good shift but his legs let him down and maybe the ref could of let 3 seconds run out and given him a chance to recover. its hard to tell sometimes, as he wasnt just covering up but trying to grab his fists.

UFC are running in either Liverpool or Nottingham on 15th October, according to the Wrestling Observer.

UFC 130 was a bit of a let down, Bring on Carwin, who has shrunk, looking forward to Strikeforce finishing that bloody tournament in the meantime though.

UFC have announced that from September all main events will be 5 rounds, regardless if they're for a championship or not.

Good news for BAMMA, presumably UFC won't keep Dan Hardy after losing 4 in a row.

Edit: though maybe not, Oliver Copp just posted on the Wrestling Observer board that Lorenzo said they're not cutting Hardy.

indeed, why would they, they should be trying to find more fighters willing to trade, as lay and pray guys will kill the sport.

lets face it his loses arent that bad, he got killed by GSP like everyone else but showed character. against condit he was just beaten to the punch, rumble didnt live up to that name and used lay and pray.
then last night he was in a war, he made one foolish error with a minute to go and tapped out, although i think he would of lost on points.

Dan Hardy is good to watch .... far more entertaining than the wrestlers rolling round on top of each other
apparently they are not cutting Hardy and I am glad about that
his fights are always entertaining bar the GSP cuddle

I have been meaning to post in here for a while. I'm a massive MMA fan.

Lorenzo said today that they are keeping Hardy because he "likes a guy who wars". Whilst I like Hardy, I think he really needs to take some time off and change his camps having worked on his wrestling offense and defense before he gets back in there.

Good wrestling is always welcome, remember it's mixed martial arts, not boxing. Guys who try to ride out a decision are a lot different from guys like Jon Fitch or GSP. If you want to just see striking then go and watch K1.

No they haven't. They said that certain matches will be 5 rounds, at their discretion.

Thats all well and good but there have been far too many fights with all 3 rounds being spent laying on each other, with nothing ele but hugging each other - and I am also a huge MMA fan went to Vegas a few years ago to watch them live

i said lay and pray, working to a finish and risking your position is also good to watch, like guys like koscheck, will happily bore his opponent to death, just cos he has good wrestling skills.

Lesnar/Overeem happening in December, holy fu**ing sh**

Add that to JDS/Cain which is set to be the ME for the debut on FOX, unbelievable time for UFC and MMA in general towards the end of the year.

Good fight for Lesnar this. Providing he gets this to the floor he should handle Overeem fairly comfortable. Was hoping they'd give Overeem someone like Schaub so he could smash him first.

Dana has already said they're sorting something out and that we'll hear something as soon as he knows. Wouldn't worry as he's made it clear we'll be receiving these shows, so just be patient.

Feel sorry for Fedor, Reem comes to the UFC for a big payday and he's left in the wilderness. His management really ****ed up his career, the Elvis of MMA methinks.

I guess your looking forward to this mismatch.. I think Jones will take him apart
his style is just too old school I can see no other outcome but a landslide victory for Jones

hopefully but theres always a risk that like with strikeforce, they end up selling the rights to a smaller sports channel.

GSP vs Nick Diaz is off, now GSP vs Carlos Condit. Diaz failed to turn up to a press conference.
