hardly terrible, his not gonna be the world champ, but his a decent midcarder (which in mma is probably a first on or prelims headline act or as he was in his last fight a ufc non ppv act) who can put on a show.

He only finished Markham, the other three were decisions and two of those split. At the time I said on other boards that Condit would defeat him as he was the toughest fighter (bar GSP) he had ever faced, although I didn't expect the fight to go the way it did.
Hardy's biggest issue is the fact that he is charismatic, marketable, a great interview etc and as a result is forced to be taking fights that he really shouldn't be. In all honesty, the Chris Lytle fight was a terrible fight for him to be taking as Lytle is better than him in every department, and a loss here really should have seen him cut. Despite what Lorenzo and Dana say if Hardy was American he would have been long gone, it's just that he is 'vital' to the UK market so they haven't cut him. Ideally he should be fighting on the undercard and prelims (similarly to say Paul Taylor) and could carve himself a nice career doing that, but I imagine they will thrust him back into the main cards. Also, don't get me started on Dan Hardy's punching power, another myth about the fighter.”
his got heart and is entertaining and tell me who could beat GSP as one of the reasons he got the title shot was due to the lack of options.
