There was one clear shot, the only argument for it being a DQ is the opponent not being able to recover, otherwise it's a warning or point deduction. It's come across similar to the Jones DQ. Not a horrendous call, but can certainly go down as a bad one, though debatable depending on the damage.
Annnnnddd Johnson is cut, no surprise there. |

Very tough call, there were clearly a couple of shots to the back of the head...but as for that being grounds to DQ the guy, that seemed too much. He went on to give a good few more shots that were legal which THEN finished the fight. If you were going to DQ the guy you would surely have stopped him before the few legal shots which ended the fight. Poor decision by Yamaski but it is a tough job when you're having to make split second safety decisions.
Johnson being cut was no surprise with his loss but I'm still baffled as to the real story of why he couldn't make weight. |

Yeah, would assume Bisping won't win unless Sonnen fails his piss test. Still, should be awesome.

do u know if it will be shown on ESPN?
Tough one for Bisping, as much as I'd love to see him smash Sonnen, it's tough to see past Sonnen here. Fancy Sonnen to take it to the ground and handle it there. If Bisping can somehow manage to keep it standing up then he stands a chance. Bisping however feels differently, he's saying the key will be his submission arsenal and has insisted he'll make Sonnen tap. Bisping has been training with the likes of Shields of course and as we all know, Sonnen has been caught on more than one occasion. Bisping claims he's happy to be taken down, because he'll submit Sonnen. Interesting claims and while it's shown as a weakness for Sonnen, I still think he'll bee too strong on the ground. Karma, Munoz got injured so pulled out. Maia now fights undefeated Chris Weidman. |

Bisping's best shot is to try and box his way to another decision victory. Don't see his pillow hands KO'ing Sonnen and I certainly don't see him KO'ing him. |

It was a good show again last night. I'm amazed that all the guys I used to hate for their seemingly cocky attitudes, have really grown on me to some being my favourite fighters. The Diaz twins I can't deny put on great fights and I'm actually kinda rooting (and can't wait to see this fight) for Nick Diaz to win the interim title on Feb 4th. Also Melvin Guillard has grown up a lot and is an exciting fighter to watch, I felt bad for him losing to Miller as he looked good at the beginning of the fight. Frank Mir puts on great fights too but I still don't like him much as a person.

I always knew Dana White was a prick but he actually challenged Anonymous to hack the UFC site and then said 'do it again'.
Why would you pick a fight with Anonymous knowing what they can do. They released his personal information!!! |

Joe Rogan was saying half way through the last round that Sonnen had to submit him to win so that hardly constitutes getting hosed |

How any judge can score that 30-27 is simply beyond me, ridiculous to be quite frank. I had Bisping winning the first two and then losing the third, though even in that Sonnen did very little out of working into the mount and looking for a submission, all of which Bisping defended well against. Sonnen looked very average here and if he shows up even close to this against Silva he'll be lucky to last more than a round. In other news, very good from Evans, cant wait to see him and Bones. |

There are many things that do make him a prick, but not this... |

Sonnen won but would be fine if they gave it to Bisping.
Bisping would get lit the F up by Anderson Silva, though. |

Didn't enjoy this one as much as the previous events at all. Sonnen/Bisping wasn't that exciting at all and Evans/Davis was a proper borefest. To top it off ESPN cut off the last 2 rounds of the main event for some reason. Thankfully I looked online for it but still it was another 2 boring rounds of nothing much.
This weekend has to be different though, I'm actually rooting for both Condit and Diaz after watching all the Primetime stuff about them and the previews. Cannot wait for this fight. |

Got to agree about the fights shown on ESPN were poor fights to watch
but as well as Bisping fights he is not the most of exciting fighters to watch - also agree that Silva would destroy him with ease looking forward to seeing Nick Diaz as he usually brings his A game for the fans to watch |

UFC Primetime is used for this so that normally means Countdown is 30 mins.
UFC on FOX 3 to be headlined by Jim Miller vs. Nate Diaz and feature Pat Barry vs. Levar Johnson. |
