Being serious though, I agree - I think Carol's attitude is great and that her dancing is improving loads!

I'm also going to put one of my Mark votes in for Carol - I don't want her to go out at all

Carol should definitely be in the final - as things stand at present. But she doesn't seem to be receiving the same hype on ITT as some of the other couples so it is good to see she has support on this forum.

I have a feeling like every other criticism they get they are working on it. Hope they succeed. Matt certainly has plenty of wow in the routines he does with Nicole. Watch this space!

I put in a vote for Carol earlier - only the one, I don't want to be too scared by my next phone bill. I won't be around to do so after the dancing, so I'm going on trust that she'll be good, and the fact that I don't think she deserves to go just yet.

Here's hoping that for once the "right" couple goes, ie not a strong contender.

My tape didn't record friday's ITT. My fault cos I set it wrong, but I want flashy t-shirtness!!!

The only reason to vote for any couple is the quality of their dancing. Carol is doing better now, but she is still some way short (as a celebrity dancer) of Ray or Mark. Thankfully most people seem to think the same way.

If you look back to the start date of this thread, it was away at the beginning of the series before any real prowess had been shown and was merely a light, tongue-in-cheek way to win over some of the less ferocious FMs who were undecided about who should get their support.

Lighten up for goodness sake..... hundreds of people on this forum vote for loads of reasons, the main one being that they're fans of a particular professional who could be dancing with Mr Blobby or Dora the Explorer for all they care.

Carol & Matt are training in Glasgow so that Carol is not away from her children too long. She really is a lovely person. Caro & matt probably travel to London for the show which is why they tend to appear on ITT on Fridays.

Carol is definitely the most likeable of the female celebs. No crying, tantrums, whingeing "I can't" poor me routine, just a big smile (and the occasional "aaarggh" of frustration) in the training vids. Also no fake romance story, over-reported fights, arguing with the judges or any other implanted personality to try to win votes.

But my vote belongs to Ramps!

She's doing well and getting better. Matt has a nice style of teaching - no slapping her butt ( Brendan), shouting (James, what a pig !!). They deserve to go far. I think she is in the top 5, remains to be seen whether she can raise the game enough to beat cry baby bunton - who the judges absolutely love.

Sadly I have to confess that Mark and Karen are currently my fav's - sorry

There seems to be rather a nice truce going on between the two "camps" as so many of us have Carol and Mark as our top two favourites so of all the places outside the "Mark and Karen" related threads this is probably one of the safest to admit your allegiance *g*

Matt would be my choice of pro dancer if I was ever asked on (yeah right, lol) - too tall for *aww bless* Darren Bennet and Matt seems a real sweetie and very patient; I like his style of teaching

I like Carole, she's doing very well,.
I think she is very down to earth.
I used to laugh when she occasionally burst "Barmy Bowen's" bumptiousness bubble on "Changing Rooms."

But word of advice love, stop mentioning "the kids" and ask the BBC to leave them out next time they film you practicin'.
It'll start to work against you.

Long may the truce continue..........both are a joy to watch. But without seeming to be a complete wimp, I enjoy watching most of the couples and always want them to do well and enjoy themselves.

Good or bad, when they enjoy themselves and are having fun, it shines out and lights up my Saturday evening.
