Was there anyone else who was shocked this girl (Samantha) didn't make it through to the final shows, or atleast the final 12.

I know she was disappointing at bootcamp, but surely Simon could have seen it was merely a blip.

I don't see why Simon persists on making it, 2 boys and 2 girls, just so it evens things up. For me, Ray doesn't reach the mark but Simon went with him because of his baby cute face and followers from Brookside. (Wise i suppose)

I didn't think she was even in the same league as Sam.

It seemed an obvious choice to me, not sure what happend there.

I think deep down Simon must have already had a rough idea of who his final 4 were going to be from the off set.

Leona and Ashley were always going to be dead certs, leaving Shawn and Ray to fight it out. Nikkita meritted her way in at Miammi as i feel Simon was meaning to send Gemma through initially. This is just my gut feeling, never the less, why he didn't give Samantha more time to impress in Miammi is beyond me.
