Dot has a special EastEnders episode dedicated to her self. Yes its called Dots Story! It tells the sotry of her childhood from during the second world war when she goes to visit Wales! The episode cantains falsh backs to Dots child hood. This episode is to be aired on the 2 jan 2003 at normal time 7.30pm to 8.30 pm.

Jamie is finally laid to rest in a kind of royal family style! Everyone in the sqaure attends, and i mean EVERYONE!

Sonia cannot go to the funeral but insted goes to the church and gives a tearfull speach!

Peggy and Pauline are at it again when Pauline tries to offer Peggy a bunch of flowers to put on jamies coffin. Peggy doesn't accept, and in true EastEnders style these to have a huge arguement! Prepare for the first slap of 2003 on EE!

Laura goes to talk to Ian, and finally reveals to him who the father of her baby is! Ian suprisingly is not furious at Laura, but come on guys this is Ian Beale we are talking about here and he a a little worm.

Ian goes to look for Gary in the sqaure and finds him in the pub with all of the SLATER GANG! Ian goes to congratulate them for looking after Laura and finally getting rid of her , but Ian soon delivers the boomshell and reveals that Gary is the father of his wifes baby! Get ready for a classic punch in the Vic and a good old fashsion eastend family fued.

Also coming up next month 2 new characters arrive onto the sqaure! Vicki Michelles and Den's daughter! I predict that she will cause bother with some of the sqaure but Peggy and Phil in particular.

And Kate, Phils new girlfriend-ish? But she does turn out to be quite a man eater! But a better man eater then that new Tracy Balow in Corrie, and she can act! So that has to be good.

What I want to know is - why does everybody in soapland get buried? What happened to cremations? I thought all the graveyards were full, and doesn't it cost a lot of money?

Also, I have never been to a funeral where a member of the family gets up and reads the eulogy or a poem or whatever - they're usually far too upset. There's no way I could have done it for either of my parents. Is this something else that only happens in soaps?

Another thing that happens in soaps

They hardly ever talk across each other.

Now, when you have a conversation with your family, you or they usually butt in. In EE they always wait until the other person has finished speaking.

well being from the USA....we hardly ever have people dying and funerals on our soaps.....eastenders has far toooooo many deaths for me...but when they do have a funeral usually there is always someone who is very close to the deceased but rarely from the immediate family like mother, father, wife, husband etc. to stand up and make a speech

Did you see all the photos on her bedroom wall. Did you see ther size of them!!. Has she cut them out of magazines and why as an unemployed mechanic got so many photos in so many magazines??
