Couldn't see another thread on this - glad to see someone in the public eye talking about this. I recently read the book The New Pearl Harbour by David Ray Griffin and found myself convinced that 9/11 was indeed an inside job.

Anyone agree/disagree?
He really is as dull as he looks

You say this is something he knows nothing about..why? What do you know about it? I'm not being rude, just interested.

Well I certainly wouldnt try and call myself an expert or anything like that, I will leave that to others on this thread but I do have a major interest in 9/11 because I have family that live in North America and who once worked in the WTC.

I've had my suspicions about 9/11 also. Their reluctance to find Osama bin laden. Bush: Oh, I'm not bothered about him- when talking about invading iraq.

The u.s know where Osama Bin Laden is. As do, iraqi television. How many caves do you know that has electricity?

You say you've read the book yet you go on to say you're not an expert. The book meticulously goes through everything that happened before and on 9/11, how it happened, what the official explanations are and the alternative possibilities.

If you have read it you should be pretty well versed on the details.

The only conclusion the author draws is that the official explanations are partly implausible and partly asking us to believe a long succession of huge coincidental security/intelligence lapses allowed the atrocities to take place.

So what exactly doesn't stand up?

You're not expecting a reply to this, I hope. Well, not a real reply. This person hasn't read any book about 9/11, that is completely clear. But he/she MAY be an expert because he/she has family in North America and one of them used to work in WTC. Phew. LOL.

Im certainly not an expert but I am able to spot nonsense when I read it and the entire 9//1 conspiracy theory is just that in my opinion im afraid.

I have read the book and several others beside concerning 9/11, why would I lie?
Please dont judge others on your own merits in future.
And where have I said I was an expert? In fact I went out of my way to say otherwise didnt I?

Have a nice day the pair of you and talk about conspiracy theories between yourselves seeing as you are obviously well matched.

That post should be subtitled thus:

'I have absolutely no idea what the hell I am talking about (not for the first time, I admit), I've been completely and utterly found out so, I know, let's return to what I do best - have a go at someone who knows what they are talking about'. Fantastic thread.

Edit: You're old enough to have kids??? Blimey.

Yes indeed I shall withdraw if I may and leave this thread to those that wish to believe.
You are obviously WAY to clever for little old me and such keyboard warriors should be left to get on with it I say.
Have a great day.

A lot of people say the conspiracy theories are ridiculous. Well, the reality of the situation is way more ridiculous. The 'reality' that those inexperienced hijackers could have flown those aircraft so accurately into the buildings, the 'reality' that the towers collapsed due to fire melting the steel when that has never happened before (the jet fuel exploding and the fires in the buildings could never have been hot enough to melt the steel, and that's a fact, a collapse of this nature REQUIRES bombs, demolition charges), the 'reality' that one of the hijackers' passports was discovered perfectly intact on the floor near the World Trade site, what did he do, throw it out of the plane window before it hit the tower??

The 'reality' that the US Air Force could not stop the planes, the 'reality' that a full-sized passenger jet, in a show of aerial manouvorability that defies logic, flew into the side of the Pentagon WITHOUT touching the ground, leaving just a 12 foot wide hole in the side and no physical evidence of the plane (the visual evidence, of course, was taken by the FBI and if they haven't shown it by now it's likely they'll never show it, and they've held it so long now that everyone would suspect they've been working on faking the footage during those years)
