Tesco Internet Phone - echo problem?
Hi, I have just installed the Tesco Internet phone package and am quite pleased with it, apart from the fact that I hear an echo of my own voice when talking and the person i am talking to hears an echo of their own voice. Each of us hears the other one clearly and without the echo.
Is there any way of fixing this, or minimising it at least? any help would be gratefully received. Thanks |

Have you tried adjusting your settings in volume control? The handset is installed as an extra audio device and you may need to tweak the settings here.

yeah, i've tried following all the tips in the help section of the website, but still have the problem, although i tried plugging the phone into a different USB port and since then the problem has been lessened to the extent that i can have a conversation without being distracted by my own voice, thanks for the advice though

Did you have it plugged in through a hub? A lot of things don't like hubs, plus since you've minimised it, if you tweak your microphone and headphone settings for the handset you should be able to zero it. Good to hear you've just about sorted it though.
