A lot of luck in getting into the last 2 stages?
I was just watching some lcips on youtube of the stage which is before................... well the stage, which is stage before the live shows - well it was the stage before that, lol if that makes sense - when theres lots of ppl
Well watching through it i thought there were a lot of really really good singers, and i was just suprised when you know obv. they didnt get through So i was just wandering do you also think theres a lot of luck in getting through too? as personally i thought there were singers that could of competed with the current singers - and obviously there are exceptions too like ben, who are blatantly going to make the final frmo the very start |

I think the final 12 is decided based on which act is the most interesting, different, likeable rather than just automatically picking the top 12 best singers. (e.g. Simon picked Ray over Gemma). The people who didn't make it to the live shows would probably still have done a good job if they had.

The judges are picking acts that they think can win them the show, and they know that the public are looking for more than a good voice.

They are looking for people with the X Factor not necessarily the best singers
