Ray should do well then.
One of the songs on his new album is Smile.

Nope - according to Radio Times.

Also, Lionel Richie was the guest star on the American version of Strictly Come Dancing last night - he gets about a bit.

Who will sing his all time classic 'Capital City'?

There's a swingin' town I know called...
Capital City
People stop and scream hello in...
Capital City!
It's the kind of place that makes a bum feel like a king
and it makes a king feel like some nutty coo-coo super king.
It's against the law to frown in
Capital City!
You'll giggle like a stupid clown
When you chance to see 4th street and D!
Once you get a whiff of it, you'll never want to roam,
From Capital City, my home sweet swingin' home!

Robert I think.

His record label - Island Records - is a jointly owned US/UK company, which is why we get plenty of him here.

I'm sorry but this guest 'judge' each week is just about established acts getting exposure on prime time tv.

If they were seriously interested in getting success for acts following show they would bring back acts from first two series & help them along!!

I believe he has just celebrated his 80th birthday.Frank Sinatra and Duke Ellington were 2 of his biggest fans.

I saw him live about 4 years ago and he was real good.

I know there's a Tony Bennett special on NBC in November as well, so he's getting about and promoting himself a bit!

I have no idea who he is though, LMAO.

Any more news on future judges?

The two that I would predict are Robbie Williams and Pete Waterman (in the Clive Davis role).

EDIT: I've just realised who it is, I was thinking Tony Christie!!!

I thought that was Mr Bennett from Take Hart fame, and that really rubbish middle of the night show that used to be on in London about people working the night shift.

Next it will be Morph

and apart from the fact that Morph is more mobile and has more appeal there's not a lot between them. why are they bringing on such old acts? i realise they've achieved amazing longevity in the industry, so perhaps it's meant to inspire the contestants - or maybe they're being held up as some sort of yardstick we're meant to assume the contestants should aspire to measure up to if they're lucky enough to win this show
