Baby to sing for Children in Need

So the BBC just asked her on SCD to raise her profile again just before the single just like they did with Mica Paris to promote What not to Wear.

I'm glad she's doing the single and the style fits in with her 60's music she does.

Hmm, haven't been impressed with her solo work yet but I'll keep an open mind.

Well, they're all out to promote something!

Judging by past CIN official singles, it could be worse!

At least it'll have SCD people on it!

She'll get shown up by Karen and Camilla!

I'm afraid I don't understand your comment. In what possible way will she be shown up by Karen and Camilla?? Even assuming they would in any way be in it in the first place?

I hope the song is a success if it raises more money for charity, no-one is one the show to lower their profile are they, so I have no problem with her recording a single for Children in Need.

Yay I have liked Emma solo stuff and im sure she will do a good job of this and of course raising money for Children in need. Yay I wonder who will be in the video??

She sounded very excited about it on Breakfast TV, good luck to her and hope it makes lots of money for CIN.

Aaarrgghh! I thought the one advanvantage of having an ex-spice girl on SCD was that it would severely curtail their studio time and stop them from inflicting their solo efforts onto the general public!

She's asked the SCD people etc to be in it.

And by Karen and Camilla, I mean that they always sing along, and us as SCD fans are probably going to be more interested in the SCD contestants etc.

Well at least this time it is in a good cause!!! (I wasn't a spice girl fan either!) At least Emma seems very sweet and nice, and not at all diva ish, so I could take to her more than the others.

I see laura. I think a lot of the professionals sing along to the music actually, although whether any of them can actually sing is debatable. It would be fun to see though wouldn't it!

They did a charity night, where Camilla sang, and then they did a duet.

They also danced, and with Izabela and her husband Stephen.

Good grief!! should have expected that!! as shes on scd! to revive her flaggin profile!! but shes not a good solo artist!!

Who cares?? She's doing well at the dancing, the single is in a good cause, and we may get to see the scd contestants and pros on dvd. Sounds good to me. all the celebs are there to raise their profile, she's no different to any of the others, and with her singing, the single may well raise a lot of money. That can't be bad, can it??

Everybody who does the CIN single has something or another to promote, and they're just picking up on the fact Emma is currently in SCD. Can't be any worse than Shane Richie's effort a few years ago!

Heard it on the radio this morning - have to admit didn't realise it was Emma singing. Wasn't bad though

I'd hardly call her career 'flagging' her last album sold very well in the UK and gave her 3 top 10 singles and was critically acclaimed.
