You could also try deleting the current EPG completely inn the engineering menu. This will only give you now/next for the rest of today, but then hopefully get the full EPG download at 3am tonight.

Assuming you're running software v2.3.9 I think this the first report of a YLD happening with this software?

Ah! Well I always like to be a pioneer.
I didn't have to remove aeriel, or delete my "precious" new EPG, just a power cycle did the trick - but yes I had the Yellow light and no buttons worked on the unit or the remote control.

Well I tried the reboot trick but still no EPG yesterday 
I'm sure this was something to do with the date being changed to 2035(see earlier post)
Last night I did a factory reset deleted any progs in my record list ,and then did a reboot and left the tompson in standby tuned to 4tv.
Pleased to say checked this morning and I now have the full 14 day EPG
