Question about ITV on demand - non HC

Do any VOD suppliers have ITV on replay ? Shows like Corrie etc.

I had no idea it was going. Watched last weeks Prime Suspect and now wont be able to watch this weeks.

Im definately leaveing Homechoice now, been with them since they started in North London many moons ago.

But with the service going backwards seems a tad pointless staying them with them now.

It was quite cool while it lasted but no longer meets my needs in a world where we should be able to watch what we want and when we want it.

I hate to think its back to Sky, unless someone has some other suggestions.

Thanks

Are other VOD services also cutting ITV or is it just homechoice ?

Its really no good for me, although I do like films on demand but now it seems a less rich service.

As far as I was aware it was only Homechoice that had ITV as a reply channel, But I know its something NTL:Telewest have been for a while but not sure if its going to get added!!

Just a pointer on what you were saying about homechoices website, its very misleading if ITV is no longer available as this is what they are advertising:

Homechoice replay is a revolutionary service that allows you to watch your favourite BBC programmes like Eastenders, Little Britain and Emmerdale on-demand for up to 7 days after they're first shown at no extra cost.
No need to set the video (or ask anyone else to). If you're back too late from work to catch EastEnders, no problem - you can start watching any of this week's episodes immediately after they've been broadcast. Forgot to set the video for Corry? Rely on Replay to catch it for you.
And new programmes are always being added. Get the UK's first Replay service with Homechoice.

Think that may have to be changed!!

It just seems odd to loose all this content. There is a race on as we know Im sure between ITV and BBC as to who can get their download service out first. Each will have a 7 day catchup on shows like Enders and Corrie. So you can download these shows in a few months but cant watch them on your TV.

Maybe its me, but I prefer my tv shows sitting on my couch snuggled up to my pillow. Not sitting glareing at my pc screen.

The problem for me is that Homechoice and such services do actually change the way you watch TV. I had a wonderful Friday night routine of watch a weeks worth of Corrie. A small luxury perhaps but I have become used to it. If it were just a pilot then I feel it would of been nice to know.

Sadly no NTL or telewest where I live, so Im stuck with either HC or SKy+

Indeed, it might look good on the screen but I'm sure a lot of peoples bottoms on their computer chairs would not agree!

That's why you feed it from your computer to your tv and sit where you ususally sit to watch tv...
