Coronation Street

Consistently the best soap, has interesting episodes when nothing much has to happen, good solid writing - the majority of the time, good dramatic stories, realistic characters you relate with and excellent comedy.

Corrie for me Given up on EE,too many new characters.

Corrie for me, especially when you see families like the Websters being a family, doing family stuff.

I was watching corrie the other evening and had to go into the kitchen for some reason, when I reappear I was holding a yellow and white tea towel just like the one Sally was holding.

I just love it.

EastEnders easily for me no question

Hollyoaks all the way!!

Eastenders - Totally come out of its dark days and has had a huge turnaround. It's now the only soap that intrests me and the storylines are top notch.

I am getting back into Coronation Street after some time though - which is a good sign!

Not much choice at the moment, but if I really had to choose then it would be Corrie.

hollyoaks and emmerdale

Corrie. Gave Eastenders enough chances over the years but it always let me down.

Corrie has been brilliant since the first time I watched it about 6 years ago. I've gone on and off Emmerdale, I liked Eastenders for a while then it got totally crap and never recovered. Same with Hollyoaks. Haven't watched Neighbours since I was 12. Home & Away I prefer to neighbours but never got into it on Channel 5.

Definately EastEnders for me. Have watched it from almost the beginning. Have tried to get into both Corrie and Emmerdale, but I just can't.

Neighbours is the only soap I watch now. I used to watch Eastenders and Corrie but stopped watching them a few years ago. Neighbours is so tongue in cheek. It never takes itself seriously and it knows exactly what its audience wants. It has created its own idenity and is just pure entertainment!

Coronation Street

Arghh, this is hard for me to say. I've been watching EE since it started, plus it's my "local" soap, so I feel an allegiance to it.

However, at the present time, I think Corrie is better. On reflection, I don't think EE has improved significantly under Kate Harwood, although there have been some good weeks. Corrie makes better use of its cast, and they can appear without necessarily having to be part of a storyline.

EE is still my favourite soap for some reason - I just don't think it is the best currently.

(I also like Neighbours but don't watch Emmerdale or Hollyoaks)

EASTENDERS!!!!

I have always enjoyed the Bill but the chaarcter are, IMO, not realistic at all.

I would vote for Corrie but in any particular week, Emmerdale or EE could be the best

Emmerdale
is the best soap

Coronation Street is the best the other soaps are Just boring and rubbish with corrie you get excited and things happen more Quicker.

I watched all for top soaps Corrie, EE, emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

I've got to say the quality of Hollyoaks since mid May has been fantastic and great TV to watch. If anyone whos been watching the show- surely they must realise that how good this once crap TV show- has once again become a Great Soap! That is why vote for Hollyoaks at itv.com/nta - it deserves your votes- without a doubt! EE aint as good as it used to be and still are finding it diffcult to find the good old days, Corrie isnt consistantly good and Emmerdale has been better- but quality isnt shining

What about Halyoaks not much has been said about Hollyoaks??
