Brilliant jive but sorry it was no where near a 10 standard, neither was Emma's jive near a 9 standard

that was the problem Louisa was miles better than Emma and Bruno had given her a 9 therefore he had no option to give a ten as you rightly say neither deserved their mark but Lousia had to be marked higher than Emma

That`s the problem, when they`ve marked previous routines highly, they have nowhere to go but 10s.

IMO we should only be seeing 7/8 maximum scores at moment because though some of the routines are good, there is alot of room for improvement and it gives the competitors something to strive for in following weeks.

Leave the 9/10s for the final 3/4 weeks.

That`s all we`re going to be hearing now from some of the others `I wanna a 10`

As much as Louisa and Vincent's fantastic jive totally bowled me over, I do think it's a bit too early for 10's to be shown (Not that that stopped me getting all emotional when it was).

But I do reckon it's like bendymixer says, the only way Bruno could go from the 9 he gave Emma was to a 10, not so much that it was perfection (pretty damn close though, if you ask me )

It's Bruno though, the man is OTT as a rule.

Yeah well done Louisa, it was the best Jive of the night, but agree Emma and Louisa were both over marked.

Quite agree with your thoughts, but could you avoid textspeak please. It is a Digital Spy requirement (Fourth line of 'Important' above composing dialog box).

Louisa's jive was brilliant...like everyone said, she shouldn't have had a 10 but since Emma (who did trip and nearly fall) got such high marks, Louisa had to be seen to get better ones.

Apart from her hunched shoulders, she was fabulous, I thought. Especially having missed so much rehearsal time. I think she definitly has the edge on Emma.

It was the best jive of the night, but none of the performances warranted a 10 and certainly not this early in the competition. Bruno was getting a little overwrought as usual!

Louisa's jive was very good, Emma's was nearly as good. But nothing near the standard of Jill Halfpenny - against whom I measure a jive!!!

Isn't Vincent sooooo sweet.

Thought the exact same thing ~ Louisa was good, but she was 8-9 standard not a 10. Jill's jive was a clear cut 10, and there was NO comparison between the standard of her jive & louisa's. Emmma is consistently over-marked, imo ~ her kicking wasn't anywhere near "flicky" enough.

I know ~ me & boyf were saying that this is only their second "proper" week of dancing for the couples and the nines (and a ten) are flying around like nowt else! By week 5 EVERYONE will be getting 40/40!

Jill definitely set the standard for the jive and only her performance was worthy of a 10.

Louisa's was a good 9, but not quite up there with Jill's.

It wasn't a 10 but it was better than Emma and Bruno had already given Emma a 9. It was amazing. I can't believe they had so little training.

Yes i definatly agree that louisa mastered those flicks much better than emma did, I also agree that neither deserved as higher mark as they received! Sort it out for next weeks judges!

I think the judges are trying to build up competition between Emma and Lousia for publicity for the show.

Spice Girl vs Eastenders Actress will make the show seem more interesting and help in the ratings battle!

And when she originally did it, Jill got 8, 9, 9, 9 - 35, which is lower than Louisa scored last night for something that was no where near as good...

(I'm not so sad I remember all the scores btw, I've just been watching some of series 2 again recently )

I absolutely agree with you. Now there will be pressure to maintain such a high standard every week, and it is still very early in the contest.

Having said that, Louise's jive was amazing, considering they didn't have as much time to train because of Vincent's injury. But I wouldn't have said it was worthy of a '10'.
