Trying to maintain my 100% wrong status.

In previous seasons, about week 6-7 the dancers have to learn two dances. If they change this to one dance per week, they will have filled an extra week.

In that week, we could be treated to:
extra dancing from the professionals
but the BBC will most probably give us a another Westlife session
Hang on a minute - how about a Strictly Come Dancing party-piece to promote Emma Bunton's Children in Need song

Give us a break!

The BBC have done enough already to promote this "no voice singer"

We've had to put up with "Tattooed Spice" once already on SCDT2 singing her praises and now we've to suffer her again on Wednesday, doing the same again and trying to flog her own CD!

Use the extra week for a "two week final."
Three dances each week for all three couples, marks and votes for the first week, carried forward to the next, that'd be a real test of ability.

As it is for Children in Need the gap week could be used to prepare the finalists for the finale.I say give them the extra week to improve their final performance and give us a junior version of SCD.No need for celebs just "ordinary youngsters" who are already into ballroom and have them put on a Len or Arlene masterclass during the gap week

Then viewers could vote who is best Len or Arlene's young masterclass....

I like the idea of a show with a competition for the professionals. That would be amazing (and probably very competitive!).

I see Jimmy Tarbuck is the main ''attraction'' at the Bobby Moore Ball on Saturday 11th November at the Hilton - a lavish 3 course dinner, live music and casino.
Did Jimmy expect to have been voted out of the Comp by Sat 11th Nov?

GRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Have we (and Flavia) been duped?

Does anyone know when tis was arranged. Was it before he was "ill"?

If so was Spoonys departure fixed as well?

I just emailed someone about the ball. The woman I spoke to says that they had hoped for Jimmy to be able to present, but still aren't sure whether he will be able to or not.

This, to me, suggests that he thought he would be out of the competition in time (let's face it, most people thought he'd be long gone by week 3), but wasn't sure - hence why she says 'the uncertainty of celebrity schedules' in her email.

I did wonder if the illness were a cover for Tarbuck not wanting to carry on. Perhaps he thought he would get more votes and by staying, could damage what fan base he had left.

I dont think there will be any interesting twists now or new contestants,if you wathced gmtv this morning then simon cowell was on saying the contestants on the xfactor have a surprise in store, which by the sounds of things i reckon they will get rid of 2 this week which should then time the final of x factor with SCD?!?!?
