Tattooed Spice on twice?

That's twice too often.
Keep the pop performers off this programme, it's supposed to be about dance. Tell her to plug her CD somewhere else.

Show more training footage

Neither do I! Can't they bring in one of the cricket guys like Nasser, or Alec?

I don't mind Melanie appearing as a friend of Emma as such, because all the celebs have friends on to support them, as Jan did, someone off Dead ringers I think, and the Question of sport people were on supporting Matt. What I object to is having people on to plug their own CDs, books, programmes or whatever. ITT is not the place for any of that rubbish, it is not a chat show. Let Mel come on by all means as a friend and supporter, but please let's cut out all the pop music etc.

Ok, so what I meant to say is "I do NOT want to watch ITT to see Mel C sing!"

How about the England Rugby team coming on to support Matt but instead promoting next years World Cup...it's the same thing only they wouldn't sing (I hope...)

Strangly, I wouldn't mind the Rugby team demonstrating a few tackles...but Mel C singing...

The question is, will she do a Westlife and stand up at the key-change???

No one needs any one to come on to "support" them while they're sittin' on a sofa, (unless they're very tired and might fall over)
THe SCDT2 programme should be an analysis of the previous Saturday night's programme and a report on the progression of training and possibly a demonstration of the following week's chosen dances and what the judges will be looking for. But not with Claudia in those heels in which she has difficulty putting one foot in front of the other.

It ain't a "sleep over," nor a pyjama party for school kids. neither a "why I will be voting for my mate" spot (who cares?) or a showcase for pop performers.

Still it is the BBC and they are as ever, trying to reach a "wider audience," but only succeed in irritatin' dance fans.
But it is all about "ratings" isn't it?

"Oh Yes if they like Mcfly they'll certainly watch SCD on Saturday"

"What's wrong with this picture?"

As Melanie C has been on very recently 'supporting' Emma I really don't see why we have to have a repeat performance so soon. I particularly don't want to see her promote her latest product. What has her music ever had to do with any formal style of dance?
It is very annoying that ITT seem to be intent on filling their time slot with pop people plugging their latest song rather than the training footage and analysis of the couples which I'm sure us viewers are far more interested in.

I think "Tattooed Spice's" new CD is ready, so she's coming on to plug it.
I'll look out for it in the "Pound Shop."

I understand that this must be a subject close to your heart.

But I don't think anyone really cares.

It's bordering on free advertising now. Not sure whether DS would approve...

I think they should ditch this thread altogether!

Absolutely! I suppose we can look forward to Westlife, McFly, any random american or other actors agents posting similar things now.

Personally I am getting very annoyed that the massive popularity of SCD, and therefore of ITT, means that time on ITT that could be about the dancers is instead taken up with the likes of Mel C, Westsh*ite, and McFly promoting their own product. BBC,WE DO NOT WATCH ITT TO SEE THESE TRAGEDIES FLOGGING THEIR CDS.

More dancing, less self-promotion, please!
