Good pop songs, thats why they have survived.

Their songs are starting to sound the same imo. Seems their songwriters have got a formula that they're sticking to. It's a bit sad that this is what's considered as good pop music these days.

It's funny because there have been so many good indie pop songs this year which pi55 on anything GA will produce but most people will never hear....songs by De Novo Dahl, The Envy Corps, I'm From Barcelona, The Little Ones, Kite Flying Society, Los Campesinos! etc. etc. but then I suppose GA are aiming at a much younger audience....

Guess it will be number 1 this Sunday???

I heard it was close between McFly and Girls Aloud - hopefully Girls Aloud will close in by sunday

Girls Aloud are a great pop act because they always try something new. Love this track, their best since 'The Show'.

That's not really true. Girls Aloud are almost universally recognised in the industry as one of the few pop acts that appeal to a very broad demographic, part of the reason that they are so enduringly popular. Also, you are clearly an indie fan and probably not exactly sympathetic to the Girls Aloud sound. In my opinion, the vast majority of indie songs sound the same and a whole crop of indentikit indie bands have sprung up in the charts this year as indie is currently in vogue. Girls Aloud are positively groundbreaking in comparison.
