Although the company "Acoustic Solutions" exists, they license the use of their name to Argos to put on anyone's product, BTW.

It doesn't seem to have a HDMI input which is pretty essential to be fully compatible.

the link Yes the picture went wide but all it did was stretch the 4:3 picture out. So you ended up with short fat people. I took it back and swapped it for this £30 more but worth every penny of it. Still about £30 cheaper than anywhere else at moment. I have connected it to my freeview box and picture is fantastic. |

It does have an HDMI connection on the back ![]() It's a pretty good tele actually. Possibly the easiest i've ever set up for someone. The sound quality is very good as is picture quality. The remote design is a bit, well odd. Not something i've come across before but hey it works. Nice and easy set up, HDMI connection on the back, 32" LCD for £400 .. what more could you ask for at such a cheap price. I'd recommend this tv. Whether it's an actual Acoustic Solutions tv or not it's good. |

And the picture is better because the Freeview box is RGB capable.£30 waste of money if you ask me
![]() -Chris I also have a Sony Bravia 32" tv and when you watch analogue on that there is no noticeable stretch but I guess that has a lot of auto functions and adjusts accordingly on its own. Also with the Samsung on analogue the stretch was negligible, on the AS tv it was terrible. I also realise a Freeview picture is better quality but when refering to picture quality I was talking more about the overall appearance. The Samsung has a brighter screen and contrast ratio is much higher and even on analogue the picture is better. Additionally something I did not mention is the fact the Samsung has a three year warranty as it is classed as a Monitor / TV the Acoustic Solutions only a one year. This would have cost an extra £39 at Argos. So all in all the additional £30 was worth it. PS for kerplunkuk I can't remember the refresh rate but the Samsung is 8 ms. The Samsung can also do Picture in Picture or Picture by Picture if you are using it as a monitor and a TV. Other differences are: Brightness Samsung 250 AS 300 Contrast Samsung 700:1 AS 450:1 |

Its a good TV, got it today from Argos. Contrast ratio 1000:1, HDMI Connection...
Sound isn't fantastic, but its acceptable, otherwise its top notch, especially for £400! As Borat would say, "It's Nice! I Like!!" Last edited by Venkman123456 : 10-11-2006 at 10:38. |

Sorry late reply with photos, if anyone is still interested...
Photo of normal picture (Non HD) Normal Photo of Menu Menu I think the picture quality of SD stuff is pretty good, especially compared to some top end Sony/Samsung etc stuff. Anybody had any HD pictures on it yet? I'm waiting for a cable to arrive so I can play some from my PC!
