Hated the dress again. Why does she let them put her in these horrific expensive sack dresses. Can't she have one of the gorgeous dresses the dancers wear.

I must confess I'm starting to wonder if she's offended the wardrobe person!

They've all been pretty unflattering!

I have not liked one this series so far!

Last year - unless I am dreaming the dresses overall were much better

Well two from three weeks my first thought at the start of SCD was 'What a b****y awful dress Tess has got on'.

AND did anyone notice after her 'sashay' with Bruce she had to pull it up. Oh dear......

On another topic about her dresses people have suggested that she is pregnant. Otherwise maybe she just likes an unflattering dress.

If you thought the shiney sack she had on on Saturday was bad - you should have seen the shapeless little number she had to introduce the highlights yesterday!!

I don't know about being pregnant (time will tell on that one ) but I do know that however slim you are ruching over the stomach just makes you look pot bellied!

I didn't like Camilla's dress eith - it somehow managed to do her figure no favours and she has a model like figure!!

Does anyone know if the pro female dancers provide their own dresses?

Camilla wore a high neck, which is supposed to compliment women with flattish chests like Camilla, but I agree, Camilla has looked much nicer in other things.

I thought the safety pin at the front to reduce the amount of cleavage shown was very distracting - and while Tess is stunning you have to be beyond that to get away with directoire knicker satin held up with cheap tinsel braid - and yes other forum contributors are right - last seasons dresses were in a different class - and I remember an interview Tess gave saying they were all designer gowns worth thousands that were loaned to give the designers exposure - well if that is true this year - someone's made a BIG PR mistake - Huge!

No doubt about it, this year's dresses for Tess have been absolutely hideous. Whoever is responsible for the decision to save money on her dresses should be sacked if that's the case. It makes the whole prog look cheap and tacky.

I am glad you all thought the same. I adore Tess, she can do no wrong for me, but the gowns. were they awful or what? They have been looking like she sat down and ran them up herself(so to speak) on Friday night on her old Singer sewing machine. She is a stunner. Please give her the gowns to go with it.

Maybe Tess should have a chat with Erin's dressmaker.
Erin is also a tall lady but always manages to look stunning !!

Yes, Erin's dress on Sat was the best of the night.

I was lucky enough to be in the studio audience for ITT last year when Tess spoke about the designer gowns costing thousands!! I see the BBC have resorted to binbags are us for this years wardrobe.

If it's a money-saving thing, I'm puzzled. Surely SCD has the highest viewing figures, so is a bit of a shop window for them?

But all of the dancers dresses still look good - that's why it's so surprising that Tess's dresses are so horrid!

It looked like someone had made it about 10 minutes before the show started

My first thought was is she pregnant ? aswell

She is wearing the most terrible dresses

I thought Tess's dress was absolutely hideous and also I didn't like her hair straightened like that. She's a very attractive woman and they somehow made her look plain and ordinary.

What difference does it make if she is pregnant? It's her top half that is on show most of the time, and that's been the worst part of the dresses - usually a strapless number with no support, made from cheap fabrics, in awful colours.

I have to agree with you, I wouldn't mind seeing her in the same dress every week as long as it was a beautiful one. Let's face it she would look better in one of Bruce's spare Tux's than the rubbish sacks she's been dressed in lately.

I didn't like her straightened hair either. The first show i said to my husband, who is that with Bruce, isn't Tess doing it anymore? Then I realised it was lovely Tess, but in a ghastly dress and with hair straightened to within an inch of its life. I have met her and she is as gorgeous in the flesh as she appears on TV. And a really nice person as well. She seemed very shy and retiring - maybe she doesnt have the bottle to complain about her wardrobe this season. You know the powers that be at SCD and ITT read all these forums so perhaps they will take note.
GET TESS SOME NICE CLOTHES PLEASE!!!

I think Tess is pregnant to be Honest, she looks like she has a small bump there, and on week 1 she wasnt feeling very well, We over heard a Convo that her and 'Vern' as she calls him were having she said "I almost fainted inbetween the two shows Vern, Can we go now" or something along those Lines. Yep thats my Take on things, on the otherhand I loved what camilla was wearing, She looked Stunning, However best dress on the night was Probably Erin's.

my sister-in-law, who is as attractive as Tess, wore some stunning gowns when she was preganant, right up to her last week, so pregnancy is no excuse. Do you think stella Mccartney or Madonna looked frumpy when they were pregnant - and Tess is so much more lovely then either of those two.

I didn't like saturday's dress either. She has such a fantastic figure and beautiful face that it didnt do her justice. The colour was all wrong for her skin/hair.
