Interesting, here are my thoughts.

Syntax - 'Pray' - an awesome dance track. I think this is early 2003's 'Lazy' although it doesnt have a catchy chorus for the kids so may not get as much airplay as it deserves.

Lemon Jelly - 'Nice Weather For Ducks'. Wacky but fun song that could be a hit. Listen out for it on Xfm. It samples a kids nursery tune.

And whats with the ongoing novelty on turning 80s songs into Trance tunes ? eg:
Flip & Fill - I Wanna Dance With Somebody
Shake B4 Use vs. Robert Palmer - Addicted To Love
Jan Wayne - Total Eclipse Of The Heart
DJ Sammy - Boys Of Summer

How about trying to guess the number one of each week then. Heres my attempt:

January 6
Girls Aloud

January 13
David Sneddon - Stop Living The Lie

January 20
David Sneddon - Stop Living The Lie

January 27
David Sneddon - Stop Living The Lie

February 3
Big Brovaz - OK

February 10
Blazin' Squad - Reminisce/Where The Story Ends

February 17
Cheeky Girls - My Espaņol Dream*

February 24
Christina Aguilera - Beautiful
OR
Sugababes - Shape

March 3
Christina Aguilera - Beautiful

March 10
Westlife - Tonight/Miss You Nights*

March 17
Westlife - Tonight/Miss You Nights
will just beat
Gareth Gates - TBA (For Comic Relief)

March 24
Gareth Gates - TBA (For Comic Relief)

March 31

Hmmm, interesting...

I thought Avril Lavigne was releasing "I'm with you" early March, and I'm thinking that could top the charts depending on the rivals...

Where'd you get that list from?

Absolutely love the Jamieson/Angel Blu track and would love to see it keep that Fame Academy bloke off the number one. Its the most requested track on Kiss 100 at the mo, but that probably doesnt mean a lot but its def my favourite tune at the mo.

This is really good, I'm forever loooking for a UK release shedule but can never find one. I partly want one to laugh at how out of touch Radio 1 can be with the things they are not playing that they should be.

Case in point for me at the moment is 'Nas - Made You Look' getting a UK release on the 13th, they really should be playing this, it has the potential to be a massive track but without their support, it wont be.

Didn't know The Bangles were back together -look forward to hearing their new song

Soldier Girl by Polyphonic Spree is awesome -should have been a hit last year when it was first released"

I hope the CM2 song isn't a mutilation of the Crowded House classic but it probably is!

I reckon Divine Inspiration will be Number 1 -If David Sneddon is number one for three weeks I'll french kiss Luke Chadwick

I think TATU will be number 1 that week.

In an ideal world Electric 6 would get to number 1 as well.
Also Steps Tragedy 2003... why??

There will be releases that are not on this list though. The new Ja Rule single 'Mesmerize' featuing Ashanti for example. Ja Rule and Ashanti are big over here, this single WILL be released over here, either in March or April, but they mustnt have decided a release date yet.

I love that song!. Good old fashioned heavy metal, with more than a passing nod to Led Zeppelin.

Yes. Tatu will go straight in at the top of the charts.
Kiss play the dance mix of it with the vocal slowed down slightly - it's weird.

Damn right. It sounds great. For those who don't know it is Cris Cornell (ex Soundgarden) on the vocals, and a few members who used to be in Rage Against The Machine making up the band. I heard the album is good.

The AudioSlave Equation

RATM - ZDLR + CC = AS

Rage Against The Machine - Zach De La Rocha + Chris Cornell = AudioSlave.

Every RATM member except Zach are in AudioSlave.

Robin Gibb's new single "Please" which is released this Monday is now I think I tribute to his twin Maurice, just have look at the lines

"Please tell me how I'll ever get over you, though I know your gone, I can't believe that it's true" :'(

I hope it does well, it will be a fine tribute to Mo

It won't be a tribute to his brother. He might release it as that, but they wouldn't have had enough time to write and record and release the song. He only died on Sunday remember.

and the Bee Gee's are a real band, not a popstars product. It wouldn't be that new a song.

yeah I know that, the song was alreday due out before Maurice's death, but, right now I see it as a tribute,Maurice would have wanted Robin to go on with it I am sure, something better and bigger is sure to come along, those words to the song really fit what people are thinking, Maurice was a great guy and always will be remembered.

I agree with your sentiment, though as I said before I wasn't the greatest fan.

I'd like to see Robin maybe donate the proceeds of this single to a charity....
