buntyj. Just wanted to send you love and hugs, its always hard defending "teachers pet" and I agree I don't think she's done anything wrong.

I'm no fan (have daughters who were massive Spice Girls fans, so I've heard enough of them for a lifetime) but Emma has handled herself wonderfully and really does have natural talent and looks very good on the dance floor.

Thank you Gritty.

I just feel so sorry for Emma, she seems such a nice girl and certainly hasn't asked for any favouritism, as, if any think, it will possibly work against her with the public.

Don't get me wrong, she has got aspects that she can improve on, but I just feel like someone on here needs to stand up for her!

I think you will find you are not alone. Many people agree with you about the treatment she is getting, and blaming her for things which are not her fault. I admire the way she is getting on with her dancing, not having boring rows with her dance partner, and listening to the comments of the judges and taking them on board. She does seem a genuinely nice girl who is keen to improve her dance skills and who obviously listens to and appreciates Darren. I don't suppose she welcomes all the hype and supposed bias either, which can only work against her.

I also commend the way in which Emma took the judge's criticism.

However, I just hope Emma & Darren spend a bit more time practicising this week, so that they can dance to their best ability without making unnecessary mistakes.

Emma isn't my favourite but I like her, she's a very talented dancer and looks gorgeous every week, and she seems to be a lovely person too. IMO Craig is biased towards her.....but as others have said she hasn't invited that favouritism any more than say Mark has invited Arlene's obvious passion.
I hope she doesn't suffer a backlash, it wouldn't be fair on her or Darren.
