Well, called cust care today and my 4ths free ends on the 18th Dec, so will be cancelling 30days before that and then will be using freeview from now on!

I have been looking at the HC channel line up and the freeview one! To be honest so little has changed with HC since the Sept 05 new look HC began with its new channels that I cant ever seem to find anything on HC that I want to watch that I could not get on freeview!

Yeah C1 is a novelty and VMX is great but how often really do I sit down and watch another BBC episode like "My family!"

Its rubbish! And the fact that ITV replay (not that they showed good shows!) has now gone along with channel 4 replay some time ago! I have given up hope on HC! Unless when November comes and Tiscali's powers that be turn HC into something a little special I will be yet another extinct home choice customer!

OH AND LETS NOT FORGET....

BT fusion launches soon and basically from what I can see they are doing a freeview service with the standard 30 free channels (Not much less than HC) and of course supplying a 80gb set top box! So REPLAY IS DEAD and maybe BT will be an option! they offer all that and VOD!

Think they were crippled due to commercial issues to be honest.

To be fair the fact they have been relatively static has been emphasised by how busy the rest of the market has been.

They are alledgedly doing 'something' in the next month or so I'm not particularly reliably informed.

I'd wait until BT actually launch their prodcuct before deciding to lose broadband for several weeks while its switched over. And check out TopupTV, fundermentally a good idea with advantages over BT Vision.
