You are so right, this is what I started the thread about - the fact Mel C is a talentless nothing is by the way really. We want more interviews, rehearsel, gossip etc etc. Not these self satisfied no-hopers plugging their rubbish. Producers take note please. We know you read everything on these forums, so get with it.

Yeah Mel C is really bad... Then again most of the single stuff all the Spice Girls did was awful... I remember going to a signing of that single Posh did with Dane Bowers the only reason anyone was going over to see her was because David was there ...

Anyways that was a bit off topic ... I think they should put more interesting SCD themed things into ITT and get rid of talentless whatever you want to call thems...

Lets's face it, the Spice Girls themselves were not abundantly talented but theye were in the right place at the right time. Lucky them. However Emma can dance and is making an effort to move on, as her solo efforts singing were c***. I just wish she would stop whingeing because talent or no talent, she did perform in front of thousands when she was in Spice Girls and she should get on with it and stop complaining.

Hey Kaos were you at ITT last year on the thursday when Darren & lilia were on? It was so great, i hope we get asked again this year, mind you it wasnt until December just two days before the final.

I fail to see why people keep saying Emma is whingeing. She says she finds a dance difficult to pick up, just like everybody else says, she has said she gets nervous a couple of times, like everyone else has,so what?? That is not complaining, she is getting on with trying to improve and dance to the best of her ability.

Why does no-one mention Jan, who always goes on about "my brain turns to custard and my legs turn to jelly as soon as I get on the dance floor" - I have heard that a least four times to my knowledge, including ITT last night! The ALL get nervous, they nearly all say so (including Peter, Mark, Louisa, just to mention a few who have said it). The last thing I think Emma is is a whinger or complainer, certainly no more than others, although that seems to get overlooked. And why does everyone keep mentioning that she wasn't a great singer with the spice girls about 10 years ago? What on earth has that got to do with her trying to learn ballroom dancing now?

I personally would give her credit for trying to learn a new skill, trying to get a career back on track, making a real effort to learn and improve her dancing, and showing appreciation for what her professional partner is doing for her.

To get back to the thread title though, I could do without seeing Melanie C again - I thought her performance last night was awful.

Yup, Mel C on ITT not great. Don't know why we have to put up with singers on ITT anyway, it's bad enough in the results show, at least we get a bit of dancing with that at the same time!

I expect the BBC assume that because not everyone who loves the show is a dancer themselves, they will need to be entertained by some brainless nonsense, because they couldn't cope with learning more about the technicalities of dance or choreography, or getting to know the professionals better etc. I think the reverse is true. People who watch the show want to find out as much as possible and be as informed as possible. It is typical of programmers to try to dumb down to their perceived audiences level. I have yet to find anyone on any thread who wants this time-wasting on the show. In fact that, and the manic camerawork threads, are the ones where there is complete agreement, which must prove something!

Ummm no I think I went on a Wednesday waynebird... Yeah because we had Bill ... I would love to go again this year but I won't be able to get up to London... Which is a shame especially if I could met Vincent ...

I'd love to be on the show too, I'm in Devon, but I'd make the trip.

Mel C must have something to promote (although I'm not quite sure what yet) because I've seen her turn up on a few shows lately, worst luck!

far from it Dancingles, I am giving Emma credit for trying a new thing to revive her career. I just don't like to hear her complain about performing. I realise Ballroon & Latin are different ffon Disco dancing, but she has performed to really large crowds, unlike others who have worked in the comfort of a TV studio and not live.

Matt, played in front of thousands, Ray, acted live in front of large audiences, Peter, played in front of thousands, Mark played in front of huge crowds, all four of them have said how nervous they get too. Emma is not the only one!

No, no, no, Emma has danced and sung??? if you can call it that in front of thousands. Football, cricket, acting are not the same in my book. Maybe I am just not keen on Emma, but I am sure others agree that Emma is a compainer.

No, but you did say the others had only had the comfort of the studio, which in the above cases is not true. Believe me, I am not a spice girls fan, but why do you think she complains more than others, others have complained more. Do you think it is because people are looking for it more with her, or because someone starts a thread on it, it draws attention to her or what. I just feel she is being singled out unfairly, and that's what irritates me a bit.

I also think we should allow for editing, which can portray anyone as almost anything they like if they are clever about it. I suspect as the series progresses, people will be shown under a different light, as the editors try to produce different angles on people.

Dancingles you are right - maybe we are not crazy about Emma. I originally strted this thread to complain about these dreadful acts on ITT, Mel c being the case in point and it graduated to Emma, who is after all in the competitions see what she can do. And luckily no Mel C on ITT tonight. Lets's hope it's not someone worse if that were possible. Maybe St Winifreds School Choir, who knows?

Just tried to make my comments on the Strictly Come Dancing Webpage under comments and had no success. I just want the ITT show to know how we feel. Hopefully other people out there have been more successful and managed to get their thoughts across to the producers of the show. No more MelC and Meatloaf!! More rehearsal halls and contestants!!

You know the producers, Tess and Claudia are always reading all our forum stuff. they often comment on them on the show, but maybe they are committed to these unwanted guests and do not realise how much we hate them. Good try thought

Awww !!!
I thought Meatloaf was good value for money - he seems to have at least WATCHED the show - and I enjoyed his double act with Craig - it was hysterical... but then he wasn't plugging a single - he was just there to chat....

I agree CaroUK. Meatloaf seemed to have a real interest in the show when he was on ITT, but getting back to Mel C she was only bothered that Spoony was out of the show. She didnt say much about her so called friend Emma Bunton, her supposed reason for being on ITT, when in fact she was promoting her horrible new single.
