Or does she deserve it?

Nobody deserved treatment like that. The man is a rude obnoxious bully. This is already being discussed under the Itt thread.

No I don't think so! I don't think she is that interested in
dancing and is not giving it her all, on the other hand I think Jan would love to dance better but is not finding it easy.

He's only hurting himself. From what I've seen she isn't exactly easy to teach, he's right. But behaving like that isn't making her better and is giving him a bad reputation.

James has a very strange way to try to get the best out of someone. Not sure how many people would blossom with being talked to like that.

Yep, that's it in a nutshell. Couldn't think how to put it. He's being paid to teach her, he'd do better to try and find whatever it takes to get through to her, swearing at her and telling her she's not skinny enough for a dancer and so on is doing neither of them any good.

I would have probably punched him by now!

He probably is. But I hear there are a lot in the dance biz who are just like him (probably in the mould of big bad Arlene herself). But I confess to being confused about James I don't know if he is being mean because A) It is simply the way he is and the way he teaches B) As he stated in the footage he has to be mean to keep Georgina focused C)Georgina is just plain lazy

From what I've seen of their training I can completely understand his frustrations. She's young, in good health but just moans. In her own words she has a short attention span. He was right if she can't remember what foot to stand on it's her fault, that's something simple and purely a concentration issue.
I don't think even the most patient of professionals could cope with Georgina and teach her to dance well. I remember Nicole Cutler breaking down in tears whilst teaching Diarmuid, Brendan exploded at Fiona - it's not easy for the pros too teach on SCD and extreme reactions are expected.

James has been nice to her he hasn't been all bad. Georgina has a poor me attitude that grates. The only time I will feel bad for anyone in this situation is if another couple leaves on Saturday.

Haha!!! I admit I was telling James ot shut up on ITT earlier. But I do like him, and Georgie annoys me. If what Ola was talking about on Monday was right, it seems like he's thinking "My wife went out when it should have been us so you better damn well prove we should still be in." He's probably anticipating the judges being extra hard.

James is so unbelievably rude 2 georgina but on a saturday night he acts as if he's the nicest person in the world but he is just a total idiot! He is so horrible 2 Georgie and even tho she is not the best dancer in the world nobody deserves 2 b treated like that! Just Punch him Georgie GO GIRL!!!

If someone would talk to me like that, the way James is talking to Georgina,...I would've punched his lights out on day one!! That man seriously needs some anger management classes.

Even if he is justified in being tough on her to make her work harder there's still no need to be rude in doing it. I have had tough teachers in the past and it can definitely work but it looks like he takes it a little too far which just becomes demoralising.

Totally agree, Cat! I'd hate to be teaching someone who just isn't putting in the effort! It seems as though she wants to be labelled as "the useless one" rather than do something to change that, and actually improve. It's not oging to be handed to you on a plate darling!

He's a dramaqueen that is trying to be a bully because he knows that is the only way they are going to stay in because people feel sorry for georgina

I actually hope that he gets voted out on Saturday and is not asked to do SCD again. You have to remember that SCD is a family show and his aggressive, controlling behaviour is entirely inappropriate and not a good role model for children.

Remember,it's all show biz.He needs to build up some sort of reputation to get known so played up to the cameras.
It's not as though he didn't know they were there.

Then I think he is extremely unwise in the sort of reputation he wants to build up. To be honest he gave me the creeps right from the start when he wouldn't let Spoony and Ola finish their rumba with a kiss and his treatment of Georgina does make me think he's a control freak.

Georgina might not be the most motivated person, but I wonder how she might have fared with the likes of Matthew or Darren. I was going to say Ian, but he could be quite hard on his celeb at times, too - I remember a row he had with Denise over motivation.

Whether he is too hard or not, his behaviour shows him to be a lousy teacher who has no idea how to get the best out of his pupil - I know she can't dance but I feel sorry for her

He is a complete B****** and a bully! She is getting through each week simply because of HER, not him! He should be ashamed of himself - he thinks he's so special, when he's really just an obnoxious little p**** who clearly feels inferior in some way (I wonder what way?hmmm) who has the need to put others down in order to feel he has a big co**

They are married. And it was on the first programme, interview with Tess backstage after their performance.

Totally agree with you - it IS a family show and on ITT tonight the amount of bleeping out the swear words

Some people just can't reach out to teach people - even if they are very good at it themselves and I think that is James problem. Personally I'm not too keen on either of them as they are made for each other with their attitudes.

It is no good James trying to be the "bad boy" of the professional dancers as Brendan already does it with sooooo much style and panache
