She does seem a bit dizzy to me which can be annoying when you are trying to teach someone something. Still think he needs to find another way of addressing the problem though. Shouting obviously isn't working!

She's an intelligent woman, for goodness sake...... surely she can retain that much information ! She's a qualified solicitor and can speak 6 languages...... surely she can tell her left from her right !!!

I'm not defending James, but no wonder he's losing his rag with Georgina.

I know. I do feel sorry for her though as it can't be nice but she should have gone last week.

I hope she goes on Saturday, unless she performs some kind of miracle turnaround. It would be a great shame for a decent dancer to be knocked out instead.

I know. I think she is cert to go this week.

Yeah she deserves to go... Its not fair that she stays when others go... The BBC need to stop showing things that are gonna make people feel sorry for her...

I think one of the problems is the phone lines being open all week. If it was just on the night things would be different.

If they don't stop it they are running the risk of loosing another real contender - Imagine Emma/Louisa/Ray or Mark do okay, but not brilliantly on Saturday and are mid table (as happened to Spoony) Although I do have some faith that what happened last Saturday will stop, at least a percentage of, the sympathy votes.

If any of those four go instead of Georgina it would be terrible.

Yeah I would go completely nuts if Louisa, Mark, Emma or Ray go before Georgina, Claire or Jan (unless they have a terrifyingly big turn around)...

It's very scarey to think of, and entirely possible that it could happen

For all those who are hoping she goes this week - I have 3 (OK 4!) things to say

Series 1 Chris Parker

Series 2 Diarmuid Gavin/ Julian Clary

Series 3 Fiona Phillips

The more the judges slate her on the night - the more likely she is to stay in...... see above - they stayed well past their sell by dates - purely on the rudeness/ personal comments/ nastiness of 2 judges in particular

Craig and Arlene - get pished before the show - and if you can''t say anything nice - DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!

Actually she's been lined up to do that panto [it's in Croydon by the way] for longer then she was lined up to do SCD. She was a replacement for Gaby Logan and you know what I wish they had found someone else, not because I don't love Georgie but because everyone seems to have it in for her, and to be honest the only thing I can see that she's done 'wrong' is not be able to dance.

James is bang out of order in the way he treats her, he's intimidating and bullying her, telling her she's the laziest thing [note the word thing] he's ever met, swearing and cursing, kicking chairs and then saying she needs to be told how great she is all the time. I think he needs that more his ego is far greater then hers.

People on here have said she seems reluctant or whatever, well in all honesty wouldn't you be if you had a teacher like James, I know I would be in fact reluctant isnt the word more like scared stiff to come to training and potentially have to face another barrage of insults.

What they showed on ITT , with Georgie trying to get a word in edge ways and him just shouting her down was really uncomfortable to watch to the point I got up and walked out the room, so how it must have been for her I shudder to think.

I for one love her dizzyness, it's cute and sweet and part of what makes her Georgie. She is very intelligent but that doesnt necessarily equate with knowing what foot to start off with, cos as she's admitted she's had no dance training before.

I personally think people should lay off of her cos it must be bad enough having to pick herself up after the judges comments on Saturday, and deal with James , without us all attacking her aswell. She's doing her best and thats all that anyone can expect from her.

I wholeheartedly agree. Not everyone responds well to negative criticism. I feel sorry for James if he's doing that because its the way he was taught, because thats just wrong.

Georgina needs positive reinforcement when she does something right. You can see she has no confidence in herself and therefore feels uncomfortable, that's why she's often stiff, the poor girl can't relax.

I say good on her for going out there week after week - even though she only gets slated by the judges and then has to suffer James' diva strops.

GIVE THE GIRL A BREAK - would any of us do anything if we received that kind of grief - I think not!

^ believe it or not - I couldn't agree more!

The judges and James are being awful to her - and not all of it is warranted.

No - she isn't a great dancer - but the lack of training doesn't hold most contestants back (think Natasha Kaplinsky/ Lesley Garrett/ Aled Jones/ Colin Jackson/ Darren Gough/ Zoe Ball etc) - they all came on the competition and just got on with it - its what they signed up to do!

James is a new boy with a lot to prove - and all of the pros on this show take it VERY seriously - listen to Brendan or Ian or Darren or Anton they are ALL without fail in it to win it, and work for HOURS each week with their celebs to teach them the basics of dancing and the specifics of the dances. He isn't any different to the other male pros in that respect, but getting someone like Georgina as a partner when you are new to the show and young with a mark to make must be difficult for him.

Watching her stuff herself with chocolate (yes I KNOW its comfort food) and go out clubbing and arriving for training tired and hungover must be so frustrating for him - and he did make allowances for her filming schedule in the first weeks. James has got a difficult celebrity to teach - and he lacks the maturity to deal with her (and she seems to lack the committment needed to go far)

The editing of the programmes isn't being kind to any of the couples - the training footage of Jan and Anton on ITT last night was cruel - they didn't need to leave the sound on when she and Anton left the room - and I was glad to hear Peter say it wasn't nice.

The main villains here are the judges - they have no need whatsoever to be quite so vitriolic towards the weaker dancers - Craig and Arlene in particular seem to expect them to be up to the standards of the pros after only a few weeks training rather than the YEARS the pros have.

I admired Dennis Taylor pointing that out to Craig last year - and challenging him to come and learn to play snooker. Craig was utter rubbish, and the snooker player judges were much kinder to him when he made a complete mess of it. I'd like to see Arlene go and try to learn opera singing to Lesley or Aled's standard - or any of the others!

James just sets her up for failure everytime by his undermining bullying, destroying any confidence she might of had.

She is failing badly and is in a downward spiral, which makes her seem lazy as she has no motivation to go humiliate herself again (why would you), and he as her teacher is not helping in anyway shape or form with his "teaching methods" . He's determined to stay in the comp for his own ego and all of this makes very uncomfortable viewing.

I agree that James is a very poor teacher-and winning no popularity contests here.
I think the public (ME!) enjoys the 'old world gentlemanly 'aspect of dancing.

It may be competitive and tough for the dancers but there is always a veneer of graciousness and good manners as far as the audience is concerned...not with James though.

Time to go- and release Georgina from his nasty presence.

I agree. Just because Georgina can't dance doesn't make her stupid - she is obviously a very clever lady but her talents lie in other areas, that's all. Just because you can learn a language, doen't mean you have a sense of rhythm. I can embroider, cross stitch and crochet but my knitting looks like something chewed by a small animal.
My other half can play guitar and recognise a tune in one note - but can't dance for toffee.

I think she is to be commended actually - it's easy to do well at something you appear to be good at, and it's always makes things easier when you can see that you are getting better even if you are not the best - but for Georgina all she is doing is trying, getting nowhere, getting frustrated and upset which makes her worse and then it's just a vicious circle for her.

They were both just on 'Breakfast' at 9 a.m. They showed that awful clip again. In my opinion they both looked uncomfortable. James said that what you saw on TV was what you got with him. He said it was getting him results and that she was improving. Georgina was defending him and restated that they had a brother-sister relationship and that they were friends. It was suggested that they were playing on the tension for votes and Georgina said "Do you think I'd go through THAT for votes?" Georgina did liken James' method to directors... some are nice... some are more forceful.. everyone teaches/works differently. I'm sorry but the whole situation remains uncomfortable to me.

Well i just hope she gets out on that floor on Saturday and gives it her all. James obviously assumes she isnt capable of it, she could shock us all. That poor girl must dread waking up on a morning having to face that ogre, who does he think he is. Georgina is a stunningly beautiful girl with a beautiful smile sadly she cant even muster up a smile anymore, how sad is that, she should ask the lovely Ian to teach her behind James's back, that would really annoy him wouldnt it.

With a different teacher i think Georgina would have given totally different performances, wonder if she could ask for a change of partner.

Poor Georgina, she keeps defending him . That might actually annoy James, because it makes her look good and him even more the bad guy. Please people, don't vote for them. She desperately wants to get out and he deserves to leave!

But does she definitely want to go?, she most definitely wants to get away from James though to save her sanity, poor girl.
